For the skincare obsessed! All of these products, except for the lotion, have something in common. All their ingredients are low or non-existent on the acne and comedogenic scales; the lower the number the better. How did I find this out? Cosdna.com
This website offers full ingredient lists of your cosmetics and tells you how safe they are, their likelihood of causing acne, and their comedogenic scale. If you care about your skin, I highly recommend using this website. You would be shocked at how awful the stuff you put on your face is(or would you?😝). I don't buy anything before researching it on this websites and it has saved me quite a few breakouts before and during accutane.
I'm on month two of accutane and all of these products pictured have been heaven sent! @ediblebeautyau &soothe me balm has really helped with inflamed, dry skin and it has GREAT ingredients! Cortibalm is must for my chapped lips. The healing lotion is from The Soap Co. and its ingredients, such as coconut oil vitamin E, and Aloe Vera, have healed the rashes on my hands. To my surprise, my dermatologist said month two won't be as bad and that I've been through the worst of it!
If you need anything please feel free to do me and I'll be glad to help! I've tried and been through it all!
Ventured out today with Jacklyn and this cutie. Boy It doesn’t take much for my back to wear out. One day at a time I guess. 4 1/2 weeks ago I could barely walk to the bathroom without being in pain. So yippie for progress. #gettingbetter#illbebacktoworksoon#thankfulforfamily
Tonight I spoke to our support group. I was to speak about journaling and how it helps me. I haven't done it for a few months and it shows. Holding things in again. I read some entries from when I first found out my news of having diabetes, from my pissed off letter, from letters I wrote to close friends when they got the same news, to people I have never met and to a person I never knew and still don't know his name that is diabetic. How I have passion in helping and learning about diabetes. I went in tonight having the purpose to help our group and they helped me too!! We had lots of tears, lots of positive thoughts and lots of healing. Every time I share some of my heart I release negative images that I no longer need and I move big steps forward. I am so glad I decided to take on this task of speaking tonight as I got to reminisce through my journals, dating back to my first one gifted to me in 2009 from June Sowden. Like June I payed in forward and bought everyone a journal, gave out stickers and quotes. Tonight I will write in my new pink journal and heal some more!!! Powerful powerful evening and I thank each and everyone of you!! #nevergiveup#diabetestype2#healing#journaling#gifts#supporting#supportingletters#release#lovemygroup#gettingbetter#hugs#push_kath
