It’s #transformationtuesday and I would like to take a moment to admire this woman’s amazing progress!
@lisasoderquist came to me several months back wanting to get rid of some body fat and just to feel overall more confident in her own skin.
We started off with body weight and core development workouts, then moved to weighted movements with dumbbells. She’s such a quick learner!
We quickly made our way to the barbell compound movements and started squatting, benching, deadlifting, and overhead pressing. She loves doing #sumodeadlifts 😁
40 pounds later, she is looking and feeling incredible!
Just seeing her progress week by week and watching her change before my eyes is a constant reminder of why I do what I do.
All it took was stepping out of her comfort zone, seeking guidance, setting short terms goals, making a plan, and being consistent. I’m so proud of her!!
Now it’s time to get stronger and train for her first 5K! 💪🏼
Kom äntligen i säng efter en lång och jobbig dag. Inget har gått som jag vill och då stressar jag upp mig 😑 När jag blir stressad blir jag liksom en blandning av deppad och otrevlig, ingen najsig kombo med andra ord. Till slut måste man ju bara släppa det, även om det dröjer till halv ett på natten 😅 Är inte så nöjd med att jag missade ett av mina träningspass heller, men det blev ju åtminstone vattengympa och pulspromenad i snöstorm. Alltid nåt 😬 Tänkte köra en liten HIIT-session i hemmagymmet men tiden försvann mellan läggning av barn och annat. Dessutom failar jag med min tänkta 16:8 - jag MÅSTE ha åtminstone två chia-kakor med skinka på kvällen. Att inte käka innan elva/tolv på dagen är däremot nada problemas 🤪 Nä, nya tag under onsdagen, det är ett som är säkert. Styrka på morgonen och utlovad svettgaranti hos PTn på eftermiddagen. Det känns gött. God natt alla fina 💕

Back to the grind. This year I'm focusing on getting some solid #strengthtraining in along with some healthier #nutrition
I've suffered from a lot of injuries and had very inconsistent training over the last two years and I'm pretty sure focusing on these two areas will solve most of my issues.
Lately, I have been going to #bodymachinefitness to get the strength work in. The classes are tough but fun. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it.
CONFESSION: I cried... So I had my first long run Sunday and i think i pushed my self a little to much. I found myself in a really low place. About half way through my run I stood at the bottom of a hill, looking up, wondering how i was going to the top. I was exhausted mentally and physically. It had felt all i had done was run uphill and here was another hill in my path. I wont lie, I cried. I actually cried. I thought i couldn't do it. I was so close to quitting and getting my friend to come and collect me 🤣 but i knew i couldn't.
I felt like I was letting Ash down and I needed to prove to myself I could do this. With this in my mind i found energy to start walking, one foot in front of the other. About half way up I was stopped by something falling in my path. A feather fell in front of me. I had to stop and take a picture, it gave me the push I needed and gave me strength when I needed it the most. I am a firm believer that when a white feather crosses your path someone you love in spirit is close by.
I finally got to the top of this hill and it dawned on me that recently in life I have had alot of hills to climb. But no matter what path you find yourself coming across, its not about the speed in which you move but the fact that you can keep moving forward. Sometimes just one foot in front of the other will suffice and it will get you to where you need to be. ...And eventually you will get your downhill moment! It just so happened mine was long and windy!
