I have my own goals, my own strengths, my own weaknesses. And I don't feel the need to compete with anyone other than the girl I was yesterday 🏋🏼♀️ I remember I was ALWAYS comparing myself to other girls in the gym. I frickin hated it 😒 Made me feel like I just wasn't good enough or just didn't have it in me to achieve my goals. God it sucked 👎🏻 The second I removed myself for the environment that hindered me, that's when I finally flourished 🦋

I’m a huge fan of bent over rows. Many strength coaches and PTs don’t like or use them as most people can’t statically hold the bent over position with the load that they can row. So they use a seated chest supported alternative which just makes the imbalance larger. The old saying ‘If I can’t, I must’ should be applied here. It’s a Big Bang exercise that is humbling yet gives you back tonnes for the investment. This is an example of a heavy/light/light triple drop set. Enjoy 💪
It's really hard for me to actually slow down and let my body rest 😑 Like, hello weirdo 😂 It's day 7/21 in our #SlayTheHolladayz challenge, and my challenge today was doing what I needed to let my body recover. Decided to do some yoga, and seriously, I say this every time, I don't know why I don't do it more 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ It felt really good to just stretch my muscles and prepare my body for this next week 🙏🏻 It's so funny to me because old me was NEVER like this. I didn't feel the need to workout every day, every day was a rest day 🙄 But now I CRAVE it. It's seriously so true when they say that exercise is the most overlooked form of therapy....It just makes me happier to know I'm bettering my body and I just feel more "me" 🤗💁🏼Thanksgiving is in 4 days, so I'm thinking doubles are a MUST again this week 👌🏻 No way am I skipping out on that extra piece of pumpkin pie or a cocktail or 2 during the football game 😏 But I still have GOALS in mind that I plan to achieve so, I do what I have to do. I love that I have the Power💥to transform my own body. It all starts with your mind. Your body goes where your mind leads it. It was my unhealthy thinking that was causing me to make decisions that wasn't beneficial to my life. So with that being said, after learning how to eat healthy, I realized that things in my life started to change for the better. I can see clearly, I know who I am & where I wanna be in life. This health & fitness journey has been the best decision I have ever made. I now only want the best & will not settle for anything less. I now treat myself the way I expect others to treat me. Today I woke up with so much gratitude! Yesterday at our #Herbalife STS we did an exercise that helps us appreciate ourselves and show us the value of what we bring into the world. We put a piece of paper on our back at the beginning of the day and throughout the day people would write on it. They would write things they see valuable about us and things they admire about us. At the end of the day we got to take it off our backs and read it. It blew me away reading what my peers had wrote about me! I'm so filled up with gratitude and ready for a new way to show people their worth! I'm going to read that piece of paper every morning! I'm so blessed to be surrounded by the people I get to call my work colleagues but I also get to call them my best friends! So grateful for every single one of them!
Sunday has started with a morning run and healthy breakfast :) And now I'm full of ENERGY. The good thing is that I will need all of it because my days is packed with tasks, meetings and milestones that I need to get done. And of course, we can't forget about PROBLEMS - There is one that has been with me since Friday morning.⠀
For some reason, I can't set my MailChimp List to Single OptIn. There is an option for each list to have it as Single or Double OptIn and even when I switch of Double OptIn - MailChimp is still sending a confirmation email to my subscribers. ⠀

If I didn't have a goal then I would have probably given up on this problem as well as on all other things that I have to get done today and just chill out because it is SUNDAY.⠀
For me, it doesn't matter what day it is, because I'm same us productive every day of the week. And I think it comes down to my goals that I'm willing to achieve. My goals help me to get up early in the morning and work hard during the day. Goals are a fuel for everything that I do.⠀

Feelin like a cool 😎 lil hipster today ✌🏻 YOU GUYS! I have the entire day off of work! I took the day off cause we have a dinner tonight that we have to go to, and I just feel kinda weird like...it's Saturday, and I have all day off. WTH do I do with myself?! 😆 So far: slept in, had a friend over, got my nails did, got the cutest package EVER in the mail from one of my bests 👭💖 (peep my story to see 👀) and now I'm just chillin waiting for Connor to get home from work! .
I used to get so nervous when I took a day off work just because well, money 💰 and the holidays are coming up 😳 Saturdays used to be the days where I would work for 14+ hours! 😫 8-4 at the salon 💇🏼 whippin out haircut after blow out after make up application after wax....then on to the next to waitress from 5-11 MAYBE later 🌙🕐 I didn't have time to "just sit and chill" I needed the money though so I sucked up and did what I had to do 🤷🏼♀️ I didn't know there were other options for me. Not until coaching came around. It opened my eyes to a bigger opportunity and could take my life in the direction I'd always imagined 🌈 I always think to myself "this is all happening just cause I wanted to get healthy and fit" Mind blowing how it's turned in to SOOOO much more 🙂😭🙏🏻
I'm just so happy and thankful that now I can have days that I can take off and not have to worry. I get to help the most AMAZING women transform their lives through health 🍏and fitness 🏋🏼♀️ and live the life I've always dreamed about. Coaching doesn't have to be complicated.
