Here’s another coffee concoction that I thought would be a time saver from @pinchofyum! It’s like a peppermint mocha that can also be breakfast because it has protein powder. I figured it would be a nice time saver with all the shopping I have to get done today! Here’s the breakdown:
1 cup of coffee
1/2 cup milk (she used coconut, I used almond)
2 scoops protein powder (she used Bulletproof collagen powder, I used YL Vanilla Protein Complete)
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tbsp agave (I used what was left in the bottle, probably a little less)
She used peppermint extract, I used 1 drop of YL peppermint vitality oil
Pinch of salt
Mine turned out super thick so I ended up adding more coffee and left it in the blender cup. It tastes good, but the thickness is still a little weird for being a hot drink. I’ll probably thin it out with more coffee. Stay tuned. This would probably work well blended with ice! Not sure if the collagen powder is what made the difference in thickness. All in all, it’s still a nice time saver! Coffee + protein shake + digestive support = winning!
