I’ve been struggling an awful lot with this recently and honestly I was starting to become a little self conscious about it! But then I reminded my self that being bloated is nothing to worry about! It’s a perfectly natural thing that EVERYONE experiences at some point and even though mine is very extreme and painful at the minute, it isn’t the end of the world and there are ways to avoid it!🙌🏼 _____________

Little physique update, started my cut 3 weeks ago, marking today as my second weigh in, down another 1.6lbs meaning ive lost 3.11lbs in 2 weeks, very happy, feeling strong and pbs still coming along nicely 💪🏻🏋🏻♀️

My effort levels in terms of training and nutrition are the same in both pictures. I think people are too quick to judge and only think people with leaner or larger physiques in terms of muscle mass work hard. However WE ALL STARTED SOMEWHERE. Whether it was from a point of not having much Muscle and feeling smaller or having too much body fat and not being comfortable, hard work is needed at all phases of a fitness journey and it takes time. What kept me on track for over half the year was not thinking about anyone else, not thinking about the end goal but thinking about doing everything I could that day so I’d wake up the next day a little bit better than I as the day before. #modaymotivation#motivationmonday

Annoyed this pictures so blurry 😩 but of course I don’t have any full body shot old photos because I would have hated them! That’s why it’s so important to take progression photos ! Even if your iCloud looks like you worship yourself 🤣 so on the left 2013, no knowledge on diet & nutrition only calories, no knowledge on exercise, no knowledge on health! Fast forward 2017 I’ve finally found peace with food, learnt how to speed up my own metabolism so it works efficiently, and a wide knowledge on exercise and health ❤️ & I’ve finally found my passion, finally found what I want to do in life .. and that to help others find this happiness I have with my own self & body, so I’ll share with you all the ups & downs, transformations, what I have learnt & hopefully motivate you to achieve your body goals too ❤️💕
Punching into a new week like 🥊
Still feeling a little sluggish after Saturdays shenanigans (yes I’m that much of a lightweight) but it’s a new week so I’m up and in the gym doing a full body workout to wake myself up. How are you kicking off your week? #nevermissamonday
I am willing to put myself through anything, temporary pain or discomfort means nothing to me as long as I can see that the experience will level me up. A easy life produces no character in us. If you are traveling through darkness right now have some FAITH. Yep, my best advice to you is to just keep going through because sunshine is on the other side🔆 Grow through what you go through🙏

I don’t have a lot of confidence, but I wear my smile like it’s my best asset which gives the impression of someone who is very confident. I’m further along than I’ve ever been and even though I’ve gone backwards a little, I still feel like a better person than I was last year.

I’m really struggling at the moment, I’ve very little motivation to do anything and I do think it’s down to the time of year. The Christmas season over the last few years has been increasingly difficult, this year is my first Christmas with no grandparents and it breaks my heart. I want to go away, to escape for a little while, but I don’t know where to go. I guess I’m kind of lost at the moment, I need to find myself again.

Thought I’d do a slightly more serious post and about how weight gain can sometimes be necessary but very hard. As a female because of the way are conditioned it is so much hard to go against normal instinct and push your self the opposite direction to the convention of trying to get “smaller”, “slimmer”, “”more toned”. I remember having conversations with my boyfriend about how fearful I was of getting “fat” or getting back to the way I was before at the start of the year after being a bit reckless with my food for a few months. Ever since being off prep and eating more my strength has been going up. I can see myself getting bigger but not in a negative way. I feel as if my muscle are growing. And no I know I’m not Lean at all however the work I’m doing now by eating more and pushing harder in the gym to increase my size is going to beneficial when I do lean down again. Growing more muscle mass as well increasing my caloric intake will condition my metabolism to diet down on more calories for far easier cut than before. I’ll look better for it.
I didn’t think it would be hard but going in the opposite direction puts forward its own challenges just like dieting does but it’s necessary for progression especially in the sport I’ve grown to love so much. Looking forward to next year and seeing everything come together.

It's taken me a good few years of solid training to grow my glutes!
In order for any muscle to grow you need to be eating plenty of food (whole foods and lots of protein) and have a consistent training plan in place focusing on mechanical tension, progressive overload and mechanical trauma! .
Over time these factors will help you grow your muscles! However the key point I said here is "time" you can't expect to do one glute workout and have a giant ass it's just not going to happen! However if you keep working hard eating well and enough you will see progress !!!!! 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑.
Okay so apparently I can’t take my own advice, SHOCK🙄😂 and I’ve been in the library all evening smashing out some work!

Since I started my health and fitness journey about 3years ago I have waited for that day when I would wake up and love my body... I've got to my "goal weight", I've reached my "body goals", I've had abs and I've grown my booty yet I'd still never had that absolute body confidence that I thought would come with these things... over the last three months I feel like I've turned my life around... I'm exercising because I LOVE it and I LOVE the way it makes me feel... I'm eating a Paleo based diet (not entirely Paleo, just a great template) and I've never felt so excited to eat nourishing foods that allow my body to function at its absolute best😍🙌🏻🌿 and I'm also allowing myself the chance to rest when I need it instead of pushing myself to the point of burning out😅... I had to have a conversation with myself before I made these choices and seriously tell myself off for the way I'd been speaking to myself... it was time to treat my body with kindness and that is exactly what I've done☺️... Last week I sent my mum a text... very simple but for me life changing and powerful. It read "Mum, for the first time in years I don't hate my body"... I cannot even explain how much happiness it brought me to be able to say that and MEAN IT🙌🏻😍!!!! So here's the thing... self love takes time... days, months, years... don't rush it my babes, we are ALL working on it and it is such a BEAUTIFUL thing so don't EVER apologise for loving yourself fiercely☀️💛😘🥂!!! •

It’s been a really difficult start to the end of the year with my health being under investigation and a bit of seasonal sadness with anniversaries of my grandparents deaths approaching and anther Christmas alone. But I’m starting to cheer up a little, I’m starting to get my motivation back slowly and I’m starting to plan a few little get always to ensure I have things to look forward too and work towards! It’s a long road, but it’s one worth walking.
