I was compelled to tell Monica's parents that they had a beautiful family at the reception. This was after Monica & Josh laughed through their ceremony & celebrated during their portraits. This was after Monica's Dad & Step Dad both helped walk her down the aisle & then again took turns dancing with her, hugging each other as they cut in. This was after Josh's mom sewed beads of Monica's Mom's wedding dress into her veil. And finally, this was after two families came together to celebrate a beginning to a marriage that so many of their closest friends already look up too. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Monica & Josh! #jessicaryanphotographer#jrpbrides
"The Chasm itself is a Rock Wallaby Dreaming place that’s sacred to Arrernte women. In traditional times, only women could come here to collect bush medicines and perform sacred rites. These stories and songs are still used by Arrernte women today – most of them cannot be revealed unless you’re a woman who’s been through the appropriate ceremonies." ✨ Article and trail details by @traveloutbackaustralia

This morning was unreal. Woke up at 4am and hiked with head lamps over 400 meters straight up to 5600 meters to watch the sunrise over Everest with the 3 other crazies in the group and our Sherpa Neema.
‘The best view comes after the hardest climb’ #PaoDeAcucar#SugarloafMountain 🏞
Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar) stands 396m (1299 feet) above Rio de Janeiro. Its presence can be viewed from almost anywhere along the Rio coastline and in turn the mountain gives an awe-inspiring view of the city from its peak
Now I love to walk (#10kADay gang) but it turns out that it’s not so fun to climb a mountain in 30 degree heat... So we walked the first 220m and then joined the 37 million visitors who have experienced the 105-year-old cable car for the second leg
#Views ? Worth it, as you can see. Prizes if you can spot Christ the Redeemer in the background and comment to tell me which picture it’s in 😉
A lot of the best memories I've acquired in my twenties have been on mountaintops. Seems fitting that my last weekend as a twenty-something included some of my favourite people, on top of one of my favourite mountains.
So much ❤❤❤
Attempting a hike without checking the weather report can sometimes leave you driving on a forest road with three feet of snow and being totally unprepared but you just go with it because you have dogs and friends and wine #adventureswithamber
Thank you to everyone who came today!!! The weather was so perfect hey? 🌞 We did Victoria Reservoir, Perth Western Australia - almost a 7km hike with beautiful views of the dam towards the end ✨
We already have the next track planned which will be a mixed group hike! Guys you can join us! Stay tuned ✌🏼😀
I've been impatiently waiting for this movie to come out because this girl 🙆 is CRAZY over diaster movies!!!! So we did a date day!!! (Obvs no date night when #psufootball is on!) We've never been quick to jump on the fancy date train. We do life our way... Slow and a little lazy.
But, I'm working on adding MORE to my life. While this guy is a huge part of my every day, not everything he does needs to include me 🎮... And not everything I do needs to include him. ⛰️ Is anyone else working on that?
At some point in my life, my independence waivered. I heard the constant voice of caution that I should not be alone in the dark or on a trail or anywhere by myself. I was supposed to be more careful... I had to be more careful... Because I was a girl. 🙎
And then, when something bad did happen... Boom. I was stuck. FEAR took hold and I forever clung to whoever was closest. But it's just no way to live!
So yes, this started about my awesome date with my babe 👩❤️💋👨 but it's also about considering your independence and the dates you take yourself on!
Where do you go... BY YOURSELF?
