7 WEEK CUT PROGRESS 💪 I started my proper cut 7 weeks ago. My starting weight was 68.5kg and I'm now 64.9kg (bear in mind I'm 5"8.5 - v tall ino) ~ so I've had a 8lbs/3.5kg loss in this time. I've definitely not deprived myself as I've been eating 1,700 calories a day 🥕🥒🍆🍅🌶 and I eat pizza at least once a week (twice last week) 🍕 I've not really progressed too much in terms of my weightlifting (I've beat a couple PB's) but most of my weights are at a similar level as before the cut - so I've not lost much/any strength. I can definitely see some more definition in my back so I'm looking forward to seeing what the next 4 weeks has in store as I'm on a 12 week cut. I also need to learn to pose a bit better lol (advice plz)
But what are your plans for post cut I hear ya say? 🤔 Now this is something I've been wondering lately.. and after having a few chats with some fitness friends I've decided I'm going to go back to maintenance for 4 weeks.. then think I may attempt a bulk (calorie surplus). I'm not gonna lie... it scares me VERY much. I enjoy eating 1700 cal a day as I don't feel deprived one but, so I think it'll be a mental struggle to make myself eat more.. yano what I'm saying??? But you need to change it up every now and then and give your body a break from dieting. I also want to build some muscle 🍑 of course and gain some strength 💪 If anyone has ANY tips or experiences about bulking and fat gain then please message me! I've a lot of research to do myself before I do this so I need all the info I can get ~ it's much appreciated! Of course you can't have ab definition forever but I need to remind myself they'll be back come the summer 2018 shred (as I'm hopefully planning to go to Bali 🌴🌞) So yeah.. enough of me rambling.. I need to get over it 🙃

I lost a lot of muscle in the run up to my last comp and I've spent every minute since trying to build it back up. I now look healthier, feel healthier and am getting stronger. Love seeing progress as it encourages me to push harder and achieve more 💪🏼 which look do you prefer? ✨ #transformationtuesday

Ich genieße gerade noch schnell meinen heissgeliebten Kaffee bevor es zur Minischicht geht ( 10-14 🤣 ) .. ist ja fast wie ne Wiedereingliederung 😂 nach nur 2 Wochen Urlaub 😅.. meine Schwester hat sich entschieden noch 2-3 Tage länger zu bleiben, also hab ich den Sport heute morgen ausfallen lassen 😊dafür fahren wir gleich nach Feierabend schön zum See und heute Abend machen wir auch noch irgendwas .. Kino oder Sauna .. mal schauen 😊 auf jeden Fall wird die Zeit zusammen genossen, denn wir sehen uns ja leider nicht allzu oft 😕

Last week I was talking about the set up on a push up, but I got asked what to do if your strength isn't there yet and you can not hold your body weight in the bottom position without your form breaking.
I like using resistance bands as one way to regress the difficulty on this exercise.
Tie a resistance band around a chin up bar and loop it around your hips. Follow exactly the same set ups cues as the previous push up post.
Tip - the thicker the band - the more resistance it will take out of the bottom position i.e it becomes easier 😉

I know I know v weird breakfast choice but this was so good 😍 1 egg and 3 egg white omelette, tuna and cottage cheese (like a healthy tuna mayo) w veg and ketchup 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 no work today so I acccctually need to start my uni work that I've put off for about 2 months 😬😬😬 I hate myself haha happy tuuuesday xxxxx
It's getting so close to summer and warmer weather here in Australia and I for one am SO EXCITED. But it also is inspiring me to kick it up a notch and focus more on my health.
@josie_eatyourselfstrong and @fitlifelucy are doing a #50daysummerchallenge and I am jumping on board to keep myself accountable! My goals are:
1️⃣ Cut out processed foods
2️⃣ No alcohol during the week
3️⃣ Stretch every night
4️⃣ 5-6 workouts a week
5️⃣ Work towards doing one full, unassisted chin up
6️⃣ Re-do @sarahs_day 8-week ebook, incorporated with other workouts .

Good morning from Portugal! I've arrived to my parents' villa in the algarve and I'm in LOVE. The lady next door brings us so much fruit, and everything is so delicious. Figs are one if my fave fruits but they're so expensive in the UK. I made us a fruit salad for breakfast, fuel before exploring today... 😍
