Something about getting out in nature that just makes you feel good! 😃Been making a conscious effort lately, starting in the morning to show more gratitude and maintain a positive attitude. I’ve been using a guided meditation technique I found on YouTube that has made a drastic change in my attitude and outlook. While I've developed a positive attitude over the last few years, your mindset is like a muscle and you must condition regularly or you'll notice yourself slipping back into old ways of thinking and behavior. I think everyone could benefit from taking at least 30 minutes to themselves, especially in the morning. HOW TO SPOT THE AIRBRUSH

▫️it looks so real until it's next to the real one 😂
▪️we live in an airbrushed version of reality #sadbuttrue
▫️So how to spot the real over the fake? This trick isn't to look for what's there, it's to look for what ISN'T there
▪️If it looks too good to be true, it probably is! Exceptions to this rule are those full on genetic lottery winning people. You just a whole new level babes 🙌 but as for as us mere mortals who bought a ticket and didn't win, here's some tips to help stop comparing yourself to the not so real deal
▫️if there is no skin discoloration, no bumps, no slight 'defects', no errant hairs, no pimples, no fuzz, no dimples (when they're definitely should be), no eye creases (even when they are smiling or squinting), no eyebrows (whoopi Goldberg excepted) then odds are there has been a brush with some air
▪️If you look at it and someone is turned or twisted in a position that would give even Wonder Woman skin rolls, and there are none. That's da brush
▫️If they had a mole in one photo but not the next. Brush
▪️If the face looks so perfectly matte. They either have the greatest concealer and foundo in the world (makeup queens teach me your ways), or their phone has in built 'beautiful skin' setting
▫️Be mindful when using social media. I love insta and love the connections I make. But I do make a point of only following people who I know are REAL.
▪️I don't cope well with seeing models daily. I like realistic expectations please it keeps me sane
▫️this is not to discourage you from social media, it's simply to educate how to use precautions to minimize its possible harmful effects when you compare (even though if you've been paying along we are working to stop that 😜)
▪️ ps. I freakin LOVE this real picture and am so proud of the body I've worked for. This is simply an example to help people stop comparing themselves to unrealistic standards
⏳ my caption game is trash lately so i’ll get back to you when i have something informative/interesting 😅 my weight has been staying down which i’m thankful for since i haven’t been in the gym! some things i did differently to cut weight without tracking macros -▫️be sure to get 120+ oz of water everyday, especially when training ▪️20-40 mins of cardio 5-6x a week (this is personal preference, i find cardio fun and beneficial for me + i walk my pupper everyday) ▫️eating more clean and wholesome foods. i’ve also cut down on meat consumption to see the effect it would have on my body ▪️apple cider vinegar + 10 oz of water first thing in the morning - i find it helps with bloating ▫️more plyos and body weight workouts along with circuits and supersets! i think that’s basically it ✔️
As I sit here waiting for my boxing class to start, I zone out into thinking when staring at this sign. I really love this class. And I really love the sport and art of boxing. I have decided I’m going to continue with boxing because the #disciple it teaches in itself is worth it. Don’t ever be scared to go out and try new classes or new machines or new workouts. Don’t worry about being embarrassed or insecure. Do you and find your passion, what works for you, what makes you feel like a superhero 👩🏽⚕️🏋🏽♀️🏌🏽♀️ And then.... DO IT. Don’t care about what anyone else thinks because their opinion of you doesn’t matter, only yours does. I hope everyone has a grrrrreat day and #thoughtfulthursday 🦁🙇🏽♀️
Some weeks/days are better than others.
Last week I was really low on energy, did not feel like working out much, and was just mentally tired and drained. This week though, I’ve been feeling really energetic, killing my workouts, I still get tired of course, but more physically and that’s the type of tired I can deal with perfectly. My moods are steady 😂 (Gemini’s will understand), and getting along with everyone just fine, woop woop.
What I’m trying to say is, don’t let one bad day or week keep you off track or throw you off, you know? It all goes away. 🤗 Hope your week is going well and productive!

I feel so incredibly grateful today. Why? Because I'm choosing to be. In today's day and age, it's too easy for us to get caught up in the stress around us with our minds racing about the thousands of tasks we need to get done.
I encourage you to take a few minutes now, (if you haven't already) and every morning to say out loud 3-5 things you are grateful for and/or that you love about yourself. Yes, it can be cheesy, but you know what? We all deserve some self-love and positive self talk.
I love having goals that align with where I want my life to go, and not where others want me to go. I love the body that I worked so hard to make healthier (but ok I'll be honest, I freakin' miss my womanhood aka chest from losing weight 😩). And I love that I'm confident in who I am as a woman and don't need no approval from anybody 👊😂. Your turn! And make sure you say the affirmations out loud too. (Ps. Even if you don't love something about yourself, I encourage you to say that you love it anyway! Pretty soon you'll genuinely believe it. 🤗)

Here's Susie's story:
“I was a size 12/14 dress size, 11st1 and generally getting rather “plump” and very uncomfortable. Not fit, no muscle, i was very uncomfortable, no shape, unconfident, didn’t want to get undressed in front of my partner, really quite depressed as I felt like i had tried everything but with very little success.
I now walk around the bedroom naked without worrying what i look like! And my partner loves it! haha.
I’ve lost 7 inches in total, down to 10st11 (although I feel massively lighter than this, and look even lighter). I love being strong and lifting weights – i’ve caught the bug and feel I can only get buffer 🙂
I now fit into dresses and trousers I could no longer get into at the beginning of the programme…but most importantly I can now get into my wedding dress ready for my big day on 30th Sept! I’m so very pleased I will look and feel soo great on my big day, I feel I can do anything and most importantly know I won’t have to worry about how I look or feel on the day, and how I look will not hold me back! PLUS I will look amazing in a bikini on my honeymoon in Bali.”

“set attainable goals”
“know your limitations”
What a confusing message...
Dream big, but not too big.
Set goals, but only goals you can reach fairly easily.
We put limits on ourselves and each other before we’ve even had a chance to see what we’re capable of.
Here’s the thing:
There’s very few things you truly CANNOT do.
Most things are simply a matter of how bad do you want it because that is directly correlated with how hard you’re willing to work for it.

My workout with these three the other night was amazing. Aside from that it made me realize how grateful I am to have such loving people in my life. It made me think about all of my family and friends who love and support me; I truly am thankful for them. Sometimes we get so caught up in life we forget to stop and think about all the good things we have. I want to challenge you to take a minute today to think about all the good things you have and I hope they outweigh the bad.

Today I did a quick tricep/ab session because i think i'm getting sick 🤕 Hopefully not but either way my triceps and abs feel amazing right now! Even though my abs aren't visible 😂 I also got some great news the other day that i can't wait to share with you guys!!
