It may be hump day but I'm just going to do a Wednesday throwback to this time last month🙋🏽 Hard to believe it's been a month already since my photoshoot📸.
Diet wise we bumped my calories straight up after my shoot, no slow reverse diet so I would have more energy, fuel my body, increase strength and improve performance during training and overall allow my body to return to a healthier state. I made the decision a number of weeks ago not to track food and it has never felt so good to not have to weigh out to the gram or use my fitness pal but more so just the mental side of it✌🏼 Food will be increased once again because I want to build my calories up to as high as I can whilst trying to stay as lean as possible. Obviously there will be fat gain and weight will go up but I don't really care🙋🏽.
Training wise I'm just trying to increase strength as much as possible whether that be pushing for heavier lifts or increasing reps at a particular weight. I currently am still including HIIT sessions every so often just because I enjoyed watching my overall physical fitness improve during my cut (although they have been a bit of a non-start the past week or two🤦🏽♀️ time to sort that out😂).

Training alone is hard. Some days the gym is the last place you want to be. Some days Life just seems too heavy. I'm grateful for these days because they teach me the most. I was just going to leave this in my stories and I wasn't going to post this crappy mirror pic on here but some of my amazing friends told to go for it so I'm going for it!! 🙌🏼 I took this after a killer leg workout which is why I look like this... ☠️😱💩 lol!
Here's the deal: I'm 36, I have 3 kids, apparently I have a some abs, I have stretch marks, and loose skin and I'm ok with it!! I went from being overweight, to losing the weight, to gaining muscle and toning up. I will never not have stretch marks or loose skin and that because my body was able to grow 3 amazing children and I also like food 💁🏻 Instead of being ashamed of those things, I choose to embrace those marks and I'm happy to have them!
I'm also trying to show you that it's possible to change if you really want to. I truly never thought I'd be comfortable again in a 2 piece, cute little outfits, posting something like this, or simply being in my own skin but here I am doing it! If you want it bad enough, you can make it happen! Just don't strive for perfection because it's simply unattainable. Strive for what makes you happy and what makes you feel good. Strive to just be healthy and happy and that can happen at any age and at any size! 💪🏼

Already missing waking up to 45 degree heat and a pool! Had the most amazing holiday in Morocco with some of my favourite people! ❤ After doing aqua fit every day at 12 midday for a week I'm finding myself singing the songs wishing to be back 😂 it felt so nice not to worry about how I looked and to just get on with it and enjoy the food 🍉🥞🍕🍨🍹 back to the gym tomorrow and so looking forward to a booty pump again after my copious amount of leg raises in the pool as a vein attempt of a small pump 😂🍑 #paradisedoesexist#atemybodyweightinfood
I have never really done a #latspread but decided I'd go for it and I couldn't help but think about how far I've come. Fitness has been a long road for me with sooo many ups and downs and I have come to love and accept my body in every phase. I think that it's easy to get caught up in improving without recognizing how far we have really come. Sometimes people become complacent and satisfied though. While I'm proud of myself and how far I've come, there's literally nothing stopping me from improving. I'll do what it takes and I'll love myself through the process because every moment of this journey is too precious to not enjoy and appreciate, even the 'downs'. I am a believer in constant improvement that feels really good. If it doesn't feel good, it ain't worth it. I always seek satisfaction, fulfillment, empowerment, and fun in EVERY growth journey I embark on and I don't see how it could be any other way now. #3daysout
