Apart of me wanted to make a transformation picture but I wasnt feeling it!! I compared my past body to now sooo many times but now feeling its time to stop that... my past "fat" body is not something im ashamed of or something I can smash or criticize saying to people "that I now look better than that body" dont get me wrong I love my results but I love how my body was able to handle all the cardio all the weights exercises it went through! It pushed through the struggles it became disciplined to stop drinking soda alcohol sweets.. the amazing transformation isnt how my body looked then to now... the amazing is how my body was ready to accept change for the better of being healthy :)
Doubt can only be removed by action. The distance between your goals and reality is discipline.
Switching up my macros over the coming weeks with Coach @devinfinkfitness (yes, this means no more Cheesecake 😭). Hoping to tighten up over the next few weeks to see how my physique has been coming along with all the work I've put into my training this off-season. My main goal was to make improvements to my competitive package for my next show and I sincerely believe that has been achieved! The only way you can really tell is once you lean down.
For those of you who don't really understand the purpose of an off-season for athletes (both pro and amateurs who are in the sport of bodybuilding) - it's a process where you reverse diet back into surplus calories, where you transition into a higher bodyfat%. This increased body fat allows you to train with higher intensity, heavier weights and helps facilitate muscle growth at a more effective rate (similar to what most people call "bulking). People have a choice to still stay relatively lean, or lose some conditioning and get fluffier during this process. As you can tell, I chose to do a full proper off-season, hence why I look a little bulkier than usual as I wanted to make the most of this process. Although it was interesting to get used to in the beginning - I understand the science behind the method which has made it easier to not get too caught up about how I look for the moment as it serves a VERY important purpose to my progress.
During my off-season, my training has gotten just as, if not more intense than during comp prep as I am able to push more weight without the same risks to injury if I was super lean and depleted. I've been able to enjoy some flexibility with my diet as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing my improvements in full effect soon 🙏🏼 Have an amazing day today guys! 🖤

#ThrowbackThursday ) to when Hannah (@miss_windsor) fought as hard as I’ve seen anyone fight for a PB deadlift with this 110kg effort [FIRST VIDEO].
She literally gave it everything she got on our last day (testing day) of @thestrengthschool in late August ’17.
She missed 107.5kg on more than one occasion, worked back down to 105kg, eventually annihilated 107.5kg and then finally locked out 110kg.
She should find it a little easier to smash PBs now though, thanks to ol’ mate Ammonia Inhalant that she received from us coaches this past weekend 😵😅😂[SECOND VIDEO].
“It’s not who you are that holds you back... it’s who you think you aren’t”
I’m not the type of girl who lifts.
I can’t do those workouts.
I don’t have the confidence to be ‘the girl in the weight room’.
I’m not ever going to look like those girls....
Blah blah blah. The list goes on. .
You are that girl. You can have that confidence! You can be whoever you want and do whatever you work at! Stop doubting everything you attempt! Just because it’s a dream of yours doesn’t mean it can’t be reality. Just because you haven’t tried it yet doesn’t mean you won’t be good at it. Just because you’re not good at it yet... doesn’t mean you won’t be. .
I didn’t wake up and immediately start squatting 175. I didn’t start deadlifting 200# my first time out. Hell no. Ask the person I was two years ago if I could do all this and I’d say you were crazzzzy! I’d say no, I’m not that girl. I’m not capable of that. Guess what....? I made myself capable of that. And so can you if you wake the hell up and stop making excuses!! Go be the amazing person you’re capable of!!! 👊👊

And this is what I love so much about what I do - that smile, that laughter ... even when we are in the midst of building strength, we have fun! Always a pleasure training Mrs. Sally! She was supposed to be my star student with her banded lateral walks but then her glutes said, nope we are done! But of course she finished her set, #likeaboss#teambarbellyogi#noexcuses werrkkk them #glutes ! Low cable rows for #healthy scapular movement. #workoutmotivation#workout#backday#legday
