Maria from @morerawfood gave me a great tip to use a nut strainer (washing-bag) 👍🏻 i have a try so i can see if it tastes good and if it works 😋 i would be so lucky to try new recipes with carrots 🥕 too 😃 now we relax and think about if and which kind of X-mas cookies we wanna bake ✌🏻happy Sunday my lovely friends 💋xoxo Antonia

the greens are called 豆苗 in chinese, and every time i try find out their name in engish i just get the literal translation of "bean sprouts".... these are def not bean sprouts, at least not in the conventionally understood definition of them. others say they're called pea shoots, but i'm not sure.... 🤔

One of my all time favourites: Sesame eggplant udon 🍜 This fast and easy dish is always a hit.
1. Sauté onion and garlic in pan.
2. Add chopped eggplant.
3. Add 1/4 cup of water, 4tbsp soy, 2tbsp sesame oil and chilli flakes (to taste)
4. Turn heat to low and cover for 10+mins, stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick.
5. Once liquid has been absorbed and eggplant is cooked, stir in cooked udon noodles and sesame seeds.
6. Serve with fresh coriander, chilli, lemon, spring onion and more sesame seeds!
Philly cheesesteak sandwich (gf & vegan recipe below 👇🏼) ...I think the end of the week calls for treating yourself, don't you? 😜
(Makes 2 large or 4 small servings)
2 green bell peppers
2 cups button mushrooms
1 med. white onion
1 tbsp liquid smoke
Olive oil, for sautéing
1 package @hodosoy braised tofu
1 package @fieldroast Chao cheese
2 @scharglutenfree Baguettes .
Slice onion and start to caramelize in olive oil in skillet over medium heat; add sliced peppers and cover, stirring occasionally. Soak mushrooms in salted water, agitating and draining + replacing water 1-2 times to clean and brine. Slice mushrooms and toss with liquid smoke; add to pan (push onions & peppers to one side but continue to cook). Cut tofu block in half to form two narrow rectangles; finely slice these to form thin squares. Push veggie mixture to one side and cook tofu - it will soak up flavor as well. When everything is well cooked, divide into 4 sections in pan and top with 1-2 slices of Chao per portion. On very low heat, cover skillet so that Chao steams and melts. Cut baguette in half and then lengthwise; add portion of toppings to each section. Enjoy!

•Kale - 1 cup of kale has 5g of fibre and 0g of fat. It is high in iron & calcium, high in vitamin K, A & C, packed with powerful antioxidants and a great anti-inflammatory food🌿
•Broccoli - High in Vitamin K & C – Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and protects the body from damaging free radicals. High in fiber, studies shows that diet high in fibre promote digestive health. A high fiber intake can also help lower cholesterol. Potassium – a mineral and electrolyte that is essential for the function of nerves and heart contraction. Folate – is necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells in the body.
•Avocado - Avocados are a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids. Also decreasing the risk of depression. That's no wonder we all feel happy when we have avocado right?😉🥑 hehe
•Black beans - high in protein & fibre. 1 cup of black beans gives you 15g of protein & 15g of fibre💪🏻 Don't shy away from the beans! They're absolutely great for you👍🏻
•Marinated BBQ tempeh using @thecoconutcompanyco coconut amino bbq sauce - Tempeh is high in protein, vitamins & minerals. It also contains probiotics that will promote healthy gut health. A great alternative for those who can't digest tofu well like me😬 hehe

Stir-Fry Veggies in Vegan Peanut Sauce. When you just can’t get enough peanut sauce in your life... you find other ways to use it. Peanut sauce is mixed with coconut milk and spooned over stir-fried veg. You might even want to squirt some sriracha on top too. 😉
