Going, going, gone. Did you know that there are Otters living in the wild near Otterton? These pictures are of captive otters at Wildwood Escot near Ottery St Mary. Two places in East Devon living up to their names!
We have been spoilt for choice with fireworks displays this weekend. Last night we watched the sea turn silver, purple and green as a reflection of the amazing fireworks set off around Lyme Regis harbour.
A cold but sunny autumn day as we close our heavy silver doors until next March. Thank you to all our fabulous 2017 visitors. It’s been an awesome year. We have our new Escape Room venture www.suffolkescaperoom.co.uk to keep us busy over the winter and we look forward to seeing you all in 2018 for season no. 8! #happydays#endofseason#glampinguk#suffolkcoast
The lovely Lyme Regis, which is about 20 minutes from us. A place where you can eat fish and chips on the beach to the sound of the waves, or sit up in the gardens with a picnic and enjoy this view. Lyme has a rich history and is a mecca for fossil hunters too.
🦀🦀 Crabbing at West Bay Harbour, great family fun. It brings out the competitive side, seeing who can catch the most or the biggest! You can see the building used as the police station in the hit tv series Broadchurch in the background. All the crabs were released without harm after a bacon lunch! Have you ever been crabbing? What bait did you use? 🦀🦀
