Strawberry and banana gluten-free pancakes 🖤 I've tried so many gluten-free pancake recipes but none of actually come close to the real thing. Until now. These pancakes are nice and crispy in the edges yet soft and fluffy in the inside. And the strawberries just kick it all up another notch. We have a winner! And this beautiful plate is from @countryroad 🖤

Ingredients:
(Makes 4 portions)
1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1/2 cup brown rice flour (from @natureschoicesa)
1/2 coconut flour
(You can sub these for any other gluten free flours)
1/2 tsp gluten-free baking powder
1/2 tsp baking side
A pinch of salt
1 very ripe banana, mashed. 
2 cups water
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup finely diced strawberries (plus extra for garnish)
Coconut oil for cooking (I used @crede_natural_oils )

Method:
In a mixing bowl, add the flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mashed banana. Whisk to combine.
In another bowl, add the water, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon. Whisk to combine.
Add the flavored water mixture to the flour mixture and whisk gently to bring the batter together. Once well combined, gold on your fresh strawberries.
Heat some coconut oil in a non stock pan over a low-medium heat, pour some batter into the pan, and cook for about 3-4 mins per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Finish off with a drizzle of maple syrup and toppings on your choice. Yummmm.

Malt chocolate overnight oats! 🖤 this recipe is super easy and delicious and perfect for those busy mornings when you don't have much time. These can be served hot or cold but personally I like them cold. On those cold mornings you can warm them up for a hot cocoa kinda thing. For some extra goodness, top with some yoghurt of your choice and cocoa nibs. •

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups boiling water

1 tsp maca powder (I used @soaringfreesuperfoods black maca powder)
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

In a medium sized jar, add the rolled oats, chia seeds and boiling water.
Stir to combine and allow to sit for 1/2 - 1 hour until the oats have soaked up the water and your mixture has cooled down.
Refrigerate overnight.

One of the healthiest, unprocessed cheese options you can ever opt for. Nutritional yeast is a great gluten free alternative to a deliciously addictive cheesy flavour that you can add to elevate any dish. Also nutritional yeast is really high in vitamin B, it's a great source of protein, is nut free, dairy and soy free which makes it a really popular HEALTHY "alternative" for typical  cheese and flavour enhancers 🙌🏻 .
Ingredients:
1 carrot
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon ginger powder
2 small potatoes
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika
1-2 tablespoon nutritional yeast* Depending on cheesy aroma
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1 cup water
1 cup raw cashews
1 teaspoon tumeric 
Method:
1- Chop up all the veggies and adding the water into a pot, boil until they are all soft to touch.
2- In a blender, add all your ingredients including the water from your boiled veggies and blend  until the consistency is creamy and thick.

Yapımı:
1- Bütün sebzeleri bir tencerede su ile birlikte pişene kadar kaynatalım.

The Popsicles are make by mixing rawnice blue spirulina with coconut milk, almond milk and agave syrup in one bowl and coconut charcoal, coconut cream, vanilla and blueberries in another. Once desired colour is reached pour the two mixtures onto the Popsicle moulds a bit at a time.

This last weekend was so hot, and all I could think about was some nice cold ice cream. Since I bought some activated charcoal, I've been looking for exciting things to use it for. According to Pinterest, ice cream is number 1. So I decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did! It's tastes, looks and feels just like the ice cream we're used to, but it's dairy and sugar-free. Peanut butter and banana goodness 🖤

Ingredients:
3 frozen bananas, cut into big pieces
2 tbsp unsweetened peanut butter (I used @ohmega_nutbutters)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
4 medjool dates, pits removed
2 tbsp activated charcoal powder (I used @antoniasrealfood)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (I used @almondbreezesa)

Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender or @nutribulletsa.
Blitz until smooth and well combined.
If you have an ice cream maker, you can add in the mixture and churn until it reaches your desired consistency. If not, pop the mixture into a glass Tupperware and freeze until it thickens.
Once frozen, eat it all. 
Or don’t, but it would be pretty hard not to.

In love with my new discovery of these home made #curries. I came acrosd this little gem a couple of weeks ago and have been coming here to indulge in traditional home style curries. Their curries vary from various parts of India, and they always have 3 to four vegetarian options.

How was your weekend? Mine was so lovely but quite exhausting.😰 On Friday after work I went to a charity run from the school I did my voluntary social year at (almost 3 years ago). It is a special school for physically disabled kids and it's the best school I've ever been to. I actually came there to watch and support them but then I ended up running almost 5k pushing a boy in a wheelchair who used to be in my class when I worked there. In the pouring rain. With regular street clothes and shoes. 🌧️🏃 But it was so much fun! 🏅And yesterday we went to party at the same school.🎉 For breakfast on this Sunday I had pancakes for sure. Today we filmed a variation of a recipe in #MillysRealFood and made saffron and rosé mussels - naturally mopped up with a wedge of baguette. These were quite honestly some of he biggest mussels I've ever cooked, deliciously sweet and perfect with a glass of rosé or 3 .. 🥖✨ #millysrealfoodroadtrip

We've arrived in Les gorges du verdon - it's nice, but don't really get what all the fuss is about to be honest; much prefer our last stop in the Alps or on either of the lakes but we're just pit-stopping here for a couple of days before we see my dear friend and her parents at their home in Provence. We found these gorgeous rainbow chards at a veg stall so we're frying these with some local garlic and lemon and lashings of prawns straight from the fish market for dinner ✨🌿 #millysrealfoodroadtrip

Dreaming of this PB&J breakfast booster smoothie 🖤 this smoothie is packed with all the goodies to give you a good morning boost and keep you satisfied till lunch.

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (I used @almondbreezesa)
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp nut butter (I used almond butter from ohmega_nutbutters)
1 tsp honey or 1/2 stevia drops
1/2 tbsp maca powder (I used the black maca powder from @soaringfreesuperfoods)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp acai berry powder, optional (I used @natureschoicesa)

Method:
Add all your ingredients to a powerful blender and mix on high until fully incorporated.
Top with some raw cocoa nibs, raspberries and toasted coconut flakes.
