It kind of snowed so I had to take time out of my busy chrimbletide schedule to get a least one photo. We only had a very light dusting, mind. Just the three or four flakes 😒 Barely worth the hassle. #comeonweathergods#wewantmore
As someone’s who’s nesh, I have a love/hate relationship with the cold weather. I’d quite happily sit in the house, in front of the fire, heating on full blast with my coat and scarf on and still feel the need to cuddle a hot water bottle (but as we all know coats on inside mean ‘you won’t feel the benefit when you go back out’. Got told that at 3 times a day when I was a nip). Anyway, the snow is bee-you-tee-ful to look at, through the comfort of double glazed windows and at least we can all be glad it’s not raining, eh?
"Wild Portreath (in Mono)"
There'll probably be a break in new shots for a few weeks due to an injury. But in the meantime I'll post some black & white versions and archive images :)
Here's a mono version of my photo Portreath's "Monkey Hut" previously posted in colour last week. .
Taking shelter from the 60-70 mph winds in the higher "Dead Man's Hut" - I had to battle with constant spray on the lens and seawater from broken waves pouring through the hut's window.
After an hour or so, cold and wet, I came home quite happy with an image that depicts the wild sea at Portreath. .
Mono treatments often makes violent weather even moodier... which i feel may be the case here! .

Christmas time is london is always brilliant ! Ran or shine it’s great to just wander around looking at all the beautiful decorations. Near the end of the mall you’ll find this tree which is one of my favourites.
