I love Rose Hip oil! It is so good and nourishing for your skin AND it has so many beauty uses.
Rose Hip contains vitamins A, C and E as well as essential fatty acids so putting this stuff on your body and hair is going to make you glow from the outside in!
Some of the benefits of this oil include:
The vitamin A will help prevent premature aging cause by sun damage
It has anti inflammatory properties
protect you skin against cell degeneration
It will help reduce fine lines and wrinkles and firms up your skin
It's full of antioxidant which protect the skin from free radicals that cause aging
The fatty acids help wounds and scars to heal and disappear
It gives your skin a natural healthy glow
You can use Rose Hip oil for many different purposes including:
Hair mask if you have dandruff or dry hair - just massage the oil into your scalp and through your hair, especially focusing on the ends. Leave it in for 30 mins or overnight then wash it out.
Pop it on a cut or wound to help it heal faster as well as provide antibacterial properties
Massage it into dry skin including dry cuticles and hands
You it as a moisturizer, just massage it into your face preferably when your skin is still slightly damp
Use it as a Scar Treatment and massage it onto the scar at least twice a day.
Use it to treat Sunburn, just massage it onto the burnt area
Use it as a subtle highlighter for your face, just dab a small amount onto the tops of your cheekbones
If you have an old dried up foundation you can mix in a few drops of rose hip oil and it will be good as new and go on so smoothly!
It can also be used as a cleanser and makeup remover.
When you're purchasing rose hip oil try and get a certified organic brand and check the ingredients to make sure it is 100% rose hip oil.

Summer has left my skin feeling a little dry + dull so I was so thrilled to try out the @beautyrxskincare's no-downtime Glycolic Peel at @blushington’s UES Peel Bar! I have crazy sensitive skin but this was gentle enough that I had no tingling - just fresh, glowing skin my friend noticed when I went out afterwards! I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Schultz a few month ago and he’s so lovely you’d never guess that in addition to founding his own line of products he's a renowned Manhattan dermatologist and host of DermTV.com – which is total catnip for the skincare obsessed! They sent me home with the Progressive Peel, an at-home system that gradually builds up the strength of the products for derm results without the cost or irritation! I’ll report back after using for the full 6 weeks!
WOW.... check out my sweet friend, Lauren Williams results 🙌🏻... she's a nurse and has a busy life...but is LOVING her results from RF!! 💫Okay guys, this is not easy for me... revealing my bare naked face at the same time of day, same lighting (you can even see the reflection in my eyes of my shutters open), no filter, absolutely no makeup. 🌙I love my Redefine, but my freckles and sun spots were WAY out to play once the Summer started... these are my personal Reverse Lightening Regimen results and I'm loving them. I've gotten so many compliments on how my skin looks smoother and brighter. ☀️🌟⚡️ ✨Also, let's forget I ate salty BBQ yesterday and my face is fuller in that second picture. Or maybe it's from all of my vacation days. Let's just stick to the BBQ story🙈
Healthy (Sugar Free) Banana, Date & Walnut Muffins Gluten-free and Paleo friendly… the perfect healthy treat for breakfast!! These muffins tasted delicious. Usually when baking paleo treats I find it hard to get them right especially when using coconut flour the texture is so grainy. I used @jessicasepel banana date and walnut muffins recipe and it was the best I've come across!!

I don't always do selfies, but I wanted to post this #tributetomyhair . I used to not like my thick, coarse, curly hair. When I was little I used to think "why couldn't I be a Puerto Rican-Dominican with 'nice' hair? Why did all my Latina friends have "good hair" and I have this?" Nice being straighter, sleeker, less "wild." "Good hair," as if curly, thick, afro-like hair was bad. I'm so glad that as a woman I have accepted my hair, which is such a loaded topic that I feel only people of color can truly understand. Unfortunately people are still judged by their hair type. But, I'm glad to see more women in the media and real life rocking their natural hair fearlessly and beautifully from puffy fros to super tight spiral curls and all in between. Don't get me wrong- I love to change it up and get my Dominican stick straight blowout on occasion. I also love coloring and doing crazy cuts with my hair (hello side shave and teal ends circa 2013). But I feel better about the way my hair grows naturally out of my head and that has been a long time coming! 💁🏽
Crafted in small batches from hand-selected certified organic roses, enhanced by light floral notes of cold pressed hibiscus with a creamy hint of pure vanilla. Delicately refreshing, luxurious yet subtle, and uncomplicated, the way real beauty should be 🌹
