Bolo Cremoso de Batata Doce!
1 1/2 xícara de batata-doce cozida e amassada
1 1/2 xícara de leite de amêndoas ou de coco
1 colher de sopa de óleo de coco ou manteiga ghee
1 colher de chá de essência de baunilha
4 colheres de sopa de mel, melado ou agave
2 colheres de sopa de farinha de coco @holynutsbrasil
1/2 xícara de tapioca
1/4 colher de chá de sal
2 colheres de chá de canela em pó
2 colheres de chá de fermento em pó
2/3 xícara de chips de coco sem açúcar @holynutsbrasil
Nozes ou amêndoas para decorar
Modo de Preparo:
1. Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC. Forre uma forma com papel manteiga.
2. Coloque no liquidificador: leite, ovos, mel, baunilha e óleo de coco. Processe por 15 segundos. Adicione o purê de batata doce e misture novamente até ficar homogêneo.
3. Em outro recipiente, peneire a farinha de coco (nós usamos a da @holynutsbrasil) e acrescente tapioca, canela, sal, fermento em pó. Misture.
4. Misture com uma colher os ingredientes secos nos líquidos, até a massa ficar homogênea. Coloque a mistura na forma e deixe assar por cerca de uma hora, ou faça o teste do palito (a massa deve estar cremosa, mas não liquida).
5. Decore com nozes e chips de coco (usamos da @holynutsbrasil) e está pronto para servir!

If only these were my lashes irl...😏Only 3 more school nights left til summer vacation!!! Finally home and getting ready for bed after a long day. It's my favorite when we go drop something off to my parents' house and then get invited to stay for dinner. Dad's awesome BBQ chicken and Mom's homemade chocolate cake for dessert...definitely need to do a Whole30 after our Florida vacay in June. Our new gym opens in July and then I won't have an excuse not to get to the gym. Right now I just need to focus on getting through this last work week.
We are at the point with our Musclelicious Foods brand that requires the hardest work ever. Since we started MF over 5 years ago there have been no vacations, no breaks, no days off, no going home early or working like we are just 1 person. We work like 4 people in 1. Haha! Everyone that has seen what we do in our business comes out astonished and confused. They cannot believe how we do it all ourselves for so many years. It's nothing but good old work to us. We have the drive and passion of seasoned athletes. We also have a lot more work to do and we don't care. We love what we do and that's our vacations. Okay kids... To say the very least.. I'm feeling freakin AHMAZING!!! The last 7 days i've followed my meal play about 90%. I've got in my 30 minute workouts and checked into my accoutnability group daily. I've drank my shakeology and my superfood supplements daily.
To say the least.. I think I suffer from alot of food sensitivites. I hope to inspire those girls who can relate to me. I remeber feeling like this my entire LIFE before I found Beachbody. I suffered from stomaches and digestive issues. Anxiety and depression spells. UGH.. all I have to say is trust the HEALING POWER of healthy FOOD and superfoods. They are freakin ahmazing!!! I've lost -2 Pounds in 1 week and I'm a whole lot LESS MOODY and more comforable!
End of story.
Time for bed because i'm on a mission to get 8-9 hours of sleep a night.

Começando a semana com receita incrível e que eu estava na dívida: torta #semgluten de carne moída, ricota e shimeji (coloquei foto dela cortada nos posts anteriores... olhem lá que demais! 😍). Misture: 2 ovos + 70g de manteiga gelada (ghee, preferencialmente) + 1 xícara de farinha de grão de bico + 1/2 xícara de farinha @zaya_flour (tem no @emporio.santaedwiges) + 1/2 xícara de farelo de aveia + sal. Vá desgrudando das mãos, e caso seja preciso coloque ou mais ou menos das farinhas (portanto, coloque as poucos para ir dosando e sentindo a textura). Enrole no papel filme e deixe por 30 minutos na geladeira. Passado o tempo, abra com as mãos mesmo e vá acomodando em uma forma (gosto da de silicone pq não gruda nada). Recheie do seu gosto. Coloquei a primeira camada de shimeji rapidamente refogado no azeite; carne moída refogada com cebola, salsinha, temperinhos naturais e sem caldo; por fim creme de ricota. Cobri com parmesão ralado (não falei que era "light", falei?! ☺️), semente de girassol e pimenta. Assou em forno pré-aquecido a 200 graus por aproximadamente 30 minutos. A casquinha fica crocantissima!!!! Ja fiz anteriormente com outro recheio (desce pra ver foto) e fica 👍🏻👌🏻. Se fizer me conta?! #nutricionistabrunacaramello

This was my first attempt at 2 ingredient fathead pizza crust and I've gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised! Topped with some homemade pesto sauce and more mozzarella cheese, this was a great low carb, gluten free side dish! 🍕
RECIPE c/o @hungryelephant: 2 cups almond flour (I made almond meal and it worked just fine) + 3/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese ... and whatever seasonings you want. Place it all in a double boiler, stirring frequently until it's a doughy consistency. Then roll it out between parchment paper, and toss into the oven at 350 for 25 mins. Remove, add your toppings, and bake for another 5 mins or so. Easy peasy!!
I feel human again! After a crazy 2 weeks, I finally caught up on sleep, got a good workout in AND enjoyed some yummy, clean food! Ready to get back to making decisions that help me feel better. So that I can be the version of myself for myself and my loved ones. Happy Monday! ☀️❤️
I'm one of those people who gain in my face and even an extra 5 lbs I see it in my face, looking back it's amazing how weight effected my appearance even though I wasnt technically,"overweight!" The thing was I hated not feeling like myself, that's what really motivated me I just wanted to feel normal again after the two pregnancies and just being in a new life as a stay at home mom, I needed to find my identity again and honestly I can't tell you how big an impact this decision to change my own life has made on others too all because Ive shared my journey on Facebook over the last couple years. Other lives have been changed in the process as well and that makes this even more meaningful to me.
Maybe someone will see this post who feels the way I used to feel and I hope she or he knows they have the control to change their life. If you need help getting started and figuring out a plan that will be best for your lifestyle and goals, message me!

I was in that place, they were my excuse for all the weight and I could have just let myself go and continue feel bad about myself and use not having time, energy or willpower hold me back. Behold! My new trail mix recipe: organic freeze dried strawberries, organic unsweetened dried blueberries, organic unsweetened dried banana, organic coconut flakes, local hazelnuts, blanched almond slivers and pecans. Lightly toasted with a bit of sea salt. Yesterday I went on a long hike and had to turn around before making it to the end for fear of my blood sugar dropping. I am on a strict low FODMAP/SCD diet to help heal my gut. I don't have any snacks that I can just grab when I head it the door! This diet has helped me heal tremendously so far, but it is extremely strict. Went to lunch with some lovely Instagram ladies this past weekend and we got talking about how staged Instagram can be. So here is the true me: after 8.5 hours of work, looking like a literal thumb, captured candidly by my boyfriend who was 1000000% making fun of my bib. Stay weird my friends. 😜
