Day 4/7 🚫🚫 carbs or grains 👊🏻
I can get use to this protein and veggies life since I'm so sensitive to normal carbs anyways #celiacprobs .
I wish you could tell how big this bowl really is lol!! Jam packed with all them veggies topped with turkey and eggs sprinkled with feta cheese 🧀 👅💦💦
I still love food but I'm learning to have a better relationship with it and using it to fuel my body rather then pig 🐷 out on junk food all day ❤️
I am also slowing down on my grazing habit 👏🏻 I always look at people's big bowl of almost all their daily food like how do they eat almost if their food in one sitting don't they get hungry all day long?? 🤣 but that's kind of what I'm naturally doing already with my healthy foods. ❤️intermittent fasting naturally?? Who this girl?? 😜
But for reals this salad is the bomb 💣💥
¡@kitteekake aquí! I'd buy an #airfryer just for tofu!! Ugh. Not sick of it yet, I hope to keep myself forever stocked, too. CHIPOTLE-ORANGE! Stuffing this in some fajitas tonight. Yes I am. #bakedtofu#whatveganseat#kitteefoo

i've been posting a lot of salads lately because summer produce is so good here, but here's one of my favourite non-salad recipes ever: creamy leek and shiitake mushroom risotto.
2 cups aborio rice
8 cups mushroom broth
1 cup marsala wine
500g button mushrooms
500g shiitake mushrooms (can rehydrate dried ones if you can't find them fresh)
250g oyster mushrooms
4 sprigs of thyme
2 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
2 tbsp @earthbalance
sea salt and black pepper
cut leek length wise in half, then chop white part into 1/4 inch pieces. Cut mushrooms into bite size pieces. In a large pot heat up a tbsp of olive oil and pinch of salt on medium low. Sauté leeks until tender. Add mushrooms and thyme, sauté until cooked. Add all of the aborio rice and stir quickly for a few seconds. Slowly add in broth in 1 cup increments (usually every twenty minutes, but you want to make sure that the risotto is never sticking to the bottom of the pan and instead slowly absorbing the broth). Once the rice is fully cooked throughout, add in a cup of marsala wine, nutritional yeast and earth balance. Stir for a minute. Serve with thyme and cracked black pepper.

#humpdayholla !!! I'm going to start doing shout outs to awesome products on 🐪 day!
And yeah, I'm hella extra with my flowers💁😜
My first humpday holla goes to @gardenoflife Probiotics! They SERIOUSLY changed my life. I started seeing symptoms of IBS last summer (bloat, constipation, and general discomfort ALL the time😓). Although I changed my diet to support my gut, I still had some pretty severe symptoms. I became reliant on Metamucil and fibrous veggies, and I would get really anxious if I couldn't get any. Without them, things wouldn't ~flow~, which meant I was in for a world of discomfort.
I got IBS after taking a prescribed antibiotic for 2 years. This seems so dumb and obvious to me now, as antibiotics are known to mess up your micro-biome, but the doctor was REALLY reassuring. After months of trying to figure out my issues myself, while balancing college, I saw a gastroenterologist, who told me I had IBS (which is SO vague). Other than that, he didn't know what was wrong with me. I asked about the effects of antibiotics on the gut, and he laughed at me! Which is part of the reason I was so delayed in trying probiotics. This summer, I bought these probiotics. I was worried they wouldn't work for me because of their emphasis on vaginal health, but, after 2 weeks, I felt amazing! Everything was regular, no more bloating (unless I eat a TON of veggies 😛), and I felt so in tune with my body! My gut is healing and I'm building up a healthy micro-biome. I'm now on a different probiotic, because you should switch up your probiotics every month, but this one was a real winner 👑
No carbs Day 3/7 👊🏻
I don't even need them carbs for reals!! All these proteins and veggies got me full to the MAX!! .
Are you scared to start?? Well if you ask me this doesn't look very scary because believe me you won't be starving 🤣👅💦
The only thing I am struggling with is eat salsa. I am not suppose to be eating tomatoes because the can cause inflammation so I need to eliminate them from my diet because of my psoriasis but hey I have eliminated all other no no foods in regards to psoriasis
What's on your plate today??
