I can get use to this protein and veggies life since I'm so sensitive to normal carbs anyways #celiacprobs .
I wish you could tell how big this bowl really is lol!! Jam packed with all them veggies topped with turkey and eggs sprinkled with feta cheese 🧀 👅💦💦
I still love food but I'm learning to have a better relationship with it and using it to fuel my body rather then pig 🐷 out on junk food all day ❤️
I am also slowing down on my grazing habit 👏🏻 I always look at people's big bowl of almost all their daily food like how do they eat almost if their food in one sitting don't they get hungry all day long?? 🤣 but that's kind of what I'm naturally doing already with my healthy foods. ❤️intermittent fasting naturally?? Who this girl?? 😜
But for reals this salad is the bomb 💣💥
If you follow me long enough you'll notice that I love onions and bacon, so it's no surprise that this is one of my all time favorite side dishes. Broccoli slaw with warm onion bacon mustard dressing 🙀. I bring this to literally every social gathering I attend and everyone is obsessed. Here's what you do-- ▪️chop 3 or 4 slices of thick cut bacon and brown in a deep pot
▪️chop half of a medium onion and toss into the pot when bacon is almost browned (leave the bacon grease!)
▪️when bacon is crispy and onions are translucent add in 1/4 c balsamic vinegar and 1/8c stone ground mustard (adjust these measurements to taste) and stir until combined. This is your dressing.
▪️add a bag of broccoli slaw (or homemade broccoli slaw) into the pot with your dressing and toss until the slaw is coated in your dressing and tender.
Done and done!
You won't be disappointed. If you're on the AIP diet leave out the mustard and make sure to get AIP approved bacon. Vegan? The only thing I am struggling with is eat salsa. I am not suppose to be eating tomatoes because the can cause inflammation so I need to eliminate them from my diet because of my psoriasis but hey I have eliminated all other no no foods in regards to psoriasis

The only issue with being someone who gets a huge buzz off good vibes (such as my awesome surf session earlier) is that it's almost 1am and I'm still wide awake getting things done...even though I have to get up for work in 6 hours.🤦🏼♀️😂 Well there goes my ordinarily healthy sleep routine.😆 Right now I'm daydreaming about this delicious mousse I made ages ago.😍😍 If I tell you the main ingredient in this mousse is avocado would you believe me?🤔 Well it is! And it tastes sooooo good! You would never guess it's not an ordinary chocolate orange mousse.😋 I'm a sucker for anything chocolate orange flavoured - always have been. This fiddled classic has turned out rather well. With a millionaires shortbread you need it to be dirty sweet but I just wanted to take the edge off and add a bit more savouriness to the whole affair. So I used buckwheat and quinoa flour for the shortbread. I added a bay leaf to the caramel whilst cooking and mixed chopped pecans through before layering. And I made a slapdash white chocolate and berry mix for artistic splatting on the top. It's gluten free and doesn't suffer from being so. It's been so fun to make time to experiment. My first @islandpokeuk experience and this was GF and DELICIOUS! Doesn't look it but was huge and filling. Served on a bed of sushi rice, slaw and greens.
