I was so excited to have gluten free fried chicken at Bird! The chicken wings and smokey beans side were amazing, but to be honest I would probably not go back. Neither of us liked any of the 3 dips we tried, the food was quite hit and miss, and my non GF partner described it as 'not as good as KFC'. Having said that if you are recently gluten free and missing comfort food this might just be the place!

Dinner goals ❤️❤️ Treated myself to some sashimi tuna last night and made a home made poke bowl full of greens, capsicum, fresh ginger and some sauerkraut (amazing for gut health) mixing up the protein source at this stage of my prep to keep it interesting and my body nourished!
Mmm muffins, fresh out of the oven. I think I have perfected this Gluten Free Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin recipe from @chelseasugarnz by adding 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, more banana, and then for my family, using lactose free milk and dairy-free chocolate chips.
