✨Hello & goodbye to a very busy Monday 🙌! First day back to the grind today and it was struggle city 🙈! I had such a wonderful holiday that getting back to reality has been a little tough 😂! I started the day out with a bang - DailyMoves & @thebodycoach 15min HIIT and managed to make it to crossfit after work 💪🙌! Feels really good to be back but it's going to take a few days to get back into the swing of things! Did the grocery planning, shopping and a little meal prep this evening and now I'm ready to fall into my bed 😴! Hope you've all had a wonderful start to the week 🙌✨

I am more proud of this result than any other results, weight, cms, fit level, any of it.
Yesterday I was in pain. I had what felt like a partial hip dislocation. But I didnt let that keep me down. I stretched it out, did some hip rotations to get it feeling good again and kept going. At the first sight of pain, I could have just sat and remained still for days on end, but thats not me. I got myself feeling comfortable and kept pushing forward. Today my hip is still tender but its not sore so whatever I did yesterday worked.
I am on a mission, I will not allow myself to be consumed by my hurdles.

When I started my #16weektransformationchallenge in September, my goal wasn’t to lose weight. I wanted to build #leanmuscle by eating healthfully, being consistently active and timing #proteinintake appropriately with my workouts. I was at 29% body fat when I started tracking it 2 years ago, and set a goal then to get to 20%. I hovered between 21% and 23% for the last year and just couldn’t get to 20. Mentally, that tiny percentage felt like I was pushing a boulder up a mountain. Starting week 8 of the challenge today, and I’m just under 20% body fat for the first time ever.
