Growing up when I was "finding" myself, I often times found myself wanting qualities that someone else had. The growing years can be tough on everyone but I especially feel it's hard on girls. As I look back I'm thankful for all of those growing pains because it made me be the strong confident woman I am today. As an adult I have realized even more than I no longer need to apologize for who I am. I am myself without worry or concern about the opinion of others. Who I am, as I am, is enough. This bible verse I refer back to often, "I knew you before I formed you in your mothers womb. Before you were born, I set you apart." Jeremiah 1:5. You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you loose your edge. Apologize for mistakes you've made. Apologize for unintentionally hurting someone, but don't apologize for being who you are. #godmadeyouspecial#youarespecial#beproud#beproudofyou
Romans 12:6-8 says "according to the grace given to us, we have different gift. If prophecy use it according to ones faith. If service in service, if teaching in teaching, if exhorting in exhortation, giving with generosity leading with diligence showing mercy with cheerfulness." The Bible tells us that we have different gifts and that we need to use them according to the standard of our faith. We need to know what our gifts are and use them according to the Bible. God showed me that it is so hard to be normal because I wasn't made to be. Everyone is made special and unique because God has different plans and purposes for all of us. If you feel like your not good enough for society's standards it's probably because god made you stand for things he put in your heart, to be different and not just normal. So instead of trying to be something your not embrace the person God made you to be and enjoy your differences. Be a goofball and not care what other people think of you. I know God gave me the power to leave a lasting impact on someone and somewhere. I don't know where that is yet but when I find it I know God will make it all happen for the best possible reason. Ladies embrace who you are! Stop caring about your body type and what others opinions of you are and just life the way God taught you to live. Men, Go out and have fun have the best tile of your live doing something that's right and never look back. Have a blessed rest of your day❤ #mylifepost49#bedifferent#goofball#beingme#embraceyourdifferences#lexieslife#inthemaking#godmadeyouspecial#youarebeautiful
Since thou has been precious in My sight, and honorable, and I have loved thee, therefore will I give men in thy stead, and peoples instead of thy life. (Isaiah 43:4)
😊🙏 For u're wonderfully and fearfully made by God -
You're precious just the way you are -
You're His MASTERPIECE
Hey everyone!! I hope everyone had a happy Thursday. 😊 You know you lovely people, there's really 1 thing I want to add focus on is this, be yourself and don't let anyone ever make you feel bad, ever becuz you are worthy. 💖 Over the years, I have learnt that in some ways high school is a REALLY toxic place. It's like altho some people like me who are shy, struggle kinda with their learning (or are never the smartest in the class) and have big caring hearts secretly try to fit in and get to know others, or some people just don't seem to like us for no reason at all. 😓 It's like this 1 person I used to know back in the day deletee me somewhere because they don't like my sense of humour and my approach to life, or that I'm a really sweet, caring person and who loves God ❤️💞💙 Or like this girl at the bus stop who always seemed to be quiet and secretly depressed, gave me "the death stare." Yes sure, I may have acted a little different back then or was slightly a bit more immature back then, but all in all I'm growing up, and I know in my heart I never truly deserved that and that it has a lot to do with them. All in all, for those are like me, you are WORTHY 🤗 and accept yourself for who you are! 🌺🌺🌺
Do you know what makes you beautiful?
But do you know that even though we are all different, that we are all equal?
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
How amazing is that? We were made in the image of God and in him we are one! For those of us that have been baptized we are Brothers and Sisters in Christ. There is no need for jealousy. There is no need for putting each other down. We are all different, but we are all equal, and we are all beautiful just the way He made us!
I think every part of God's creation is beautiful. All the different landscapes, the different animals, and most of all, all the different people. I love seeing all of your photos! Your beautiful smiling faces and your precious babes! I love you and want to love you with the love that Jesus has for you! I want you to know that you are beautiful just the way you are. That you are loved, more so than just by me, but by the King of the Heavens and the Earth!
Don't let nasty people get you down. You are treasured and you are valued by the only one whose approval you need.
Remember: Different is Beautiful
and in the wise words of Veggie Tales; "God made you special, and He loves you very much!" 💕
(Oh that's right. I ended with Veggie Tales. 🎤 drop. 😂)

I had lunch with my grandma yesterday and she sent me home with these beautiful flowers. The older I get the more I love sunflowers because they grow tall and beautiful, looking upward. As a young mom, I see the pressure that is put on us, and everyone else, by the world around us. Go to work, stay home, feed your kids organic food, be the Pinterest mom, make sure you're working out, be involved in enough activities, have a clean house and look a certain way everyday. Seems like an impossible standard. So this is your daily reminder that whatever you're doing is enough if you're doing it for YOU and your family. Whether you take your kids to preschool and work all day or work hard as a stay at home mom- whether you're hitting the gym daily or doing marathons on Netflix with your hubby at night- keto paleo eating clean or Domino's- you're never in any competition you don't sign yourself up for. I think we can all learn from the sun flower that grows by blooming on its own with its face to the Sun, not by comparing itself to the flowers around it. You are enough, you are loved, and no two flowers are quite the same. Be the best version of yourself and love the life you live 🌻☝️
