I love how once I developed a deep and close relationship with God, I began to see myself through His eyes not just me on the surface. He showed me His view of me in the spirit. If I never took the time to draw near to Him, I wouldn’t have recognized His voice at times when I needed it the most. Had He not told me I could pray, that there was power in my voice, I would’ve never opened my mouth. If He never showed me in His word that I’m fearfully and wonderfully made(Psalms 139:14), that he created me a little lower than the angels—I wouldn’t remember how special I truly am. I would forget that I am God’s masterpiece(Ephesians 2:10). When I feel too defeated for the wilderness season I’m in, my God says “No baby—You are MORE THAN a conqueror through Christ!(Romans 8:37)” When I’m crying out to Him saying I can’t do this, I want to quit. He’ll say Sajayda—your strength is in me. “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.(Philippians 4:13)” At my weakest point...His power is made PERFECT in my weakness. Not mediocre, not decent, perfect. PERFECT. Knowing this makes it all the more easy to surrender every hardship, test and trial to Him. When I cast my cares unto Him, my mind isn’t clouded by things of the world. When I rest in Him, I can see the Sajayda that He sees...the soldier that he speaks of. When I place all my trust in Him, I’ll never need to wait for man to remind me of who I am and how I should view myself. God is my validation
