I love experimenting with ingredients and flavours to come up with new healthy, delicious recipes!  The whole point and philosophy behind RIF is to create food, movement and an overall lifestyle that is FUN yet super effective! The way I see it, if you are constantly engaging in gruelling, monotonous, clinical exercise and are eating only bland and boring foods in an attempt to get leaner and healthier, you will either grow bored of it, quit, yo-yo, binge or develop a negative association with it.  And if the experience is a negative one, there is a high chance you won’t stick to the lifestyle for life 😞

On the contrary, if our daily health and fitness requirements are enticing, then we are more likely to embrace them enthusiastically.  Engaging in fitness that makes us happy coupled with eating food that is nourishing AND delicious helps develop a positive association with healthy living!  If you have a positive mindset in relation to exercise and good nutrition, then you’ll stop seeing your wellness journey as a chore and you’ll start to fall madly in love with it!  And when you truly enjoy something, it’s likely that you will stick to it forever💫

In the right photo, I am doing the classic looking down at the ground whilst showing off my gym wear and supplements, i am posing and the edits I have done are changing the colours on the photo. The right photo is a that was taken unexpectedly. When I was going through my photos picking... I HATED THIS. I didn’t like my smile, I’m not posing.. and the photo is not edited. (Yes guys. I’m sorry my garage is NOT that white 😹) It’s actually quite hard for me to post this which is a surprise to me. I work two jobs, I’m NOT always at the beach, I’m not at the gym 24/7 (close to it but not all the time haha) I’m not always doing shoots. I’m posting this not only for myself but to show others that people’s instagrams ARE NOT always how things look, or even sometimes ARE NOT always a reflection of how they live their lives 24/7. 🏆🙌🏻Learn to love your life, work hard for your dreams and don’t compare yourself!! 🙌🏻🏆

🌟Day 10: SLEEP 😴 Seriously I need my sleep - who is with me?! Most of our trip away we didn’t hit the hay til after 12pm (my usual bedtime is more like 830/9pm!). Although we did sleep in, this pattern was way out of whack for what I like. I like the cycadian rhythm of rising with the sun and settling down for the night as sun sets. Sleep is super important for recovery, cognitive function, immune system revitalisation and support, digestion and your nervous system. So today I am up at 530am heading to my Friday morning stairs routine at Burleigh before morning PT sessions, and I’ll be in bed by 9pm (even if it is the kick off of my very tame hens weekend lol! Such a grandma 👵🏼 whatever don’t care 😜).
That’s day 10 of my 10 day kickstart tips 🌟I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey too 🤸🏼‍♀️have a fab FRIYAY and weekend y’all ✌🏼#PTVee

🌟Day 10: SLEEP 😴 Seriously I need my sleep - who is with me?! Most of our trip away we didn’t hit the hay til after 12pm (my usual bedtime is more like 830/9pm!). Although we did sleep in, this pattern was way out of whack for what I like. I like the cycadian rhythm of rising with the sun and settling down for the night as sun sets. Sleep is super important for recovery, cognitive function, immune system revitalisation and support, digestion and your nervous system. So today I am up at 530am heading to my Friday morning stairs routine at Burleigh before morning PT sessions, and I’ll be in bed by 9pm (even if it is the kick off of my very tame hens weekend lol! Such a grandma 👵🏼 whatever don’t care 😜).
That’s day 10 of my 10 day kickstart tips 🌟I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey too 🤸🏼‍♀️have a fab FRIYAY and weekend y’all ✌🏼#PTVee
