This drill is great for disassociation in the golf swing - A lot of us cannot create separation between our upper and lower body which leads to minimum potential elastic energy created and a greater dependence on the use of hands and wrists to square the clubface pre-impact.
I attach a band to @pfsgolf club and allow him to get into a backswing; the idea here is for Greg to get the lead hip to rotate without the upper body coming along for the ride. One of his issues is coming over the top, and after doing this drill he has shifted his swing plane to be more neutral and also learned how to rotate properly.
I like to add something behind the player's butt to encourage them to stay grounded and avoid early extension.
I love this drill because you can feel the energy you have created through separation when the band is released and you fire through to impact. 👊
DM me if you have any questions or concerns- obviously one drill cannot cover everything... but it can help certain areas of the swing! 💯 #differentbReed
What’s the most common phrase you and your boys hear/use on the course ??? Ours might be “just tap it in aaaalready” when you have a “tap in” put to finish the hole....ohya we don’t do “gimmes” #JourneyAtPechanga
We’re excited for the 10th annual “The Coyote Run” coming up in 2 weeks. Still a few open slots left, lots of money opportunities for everyone to win if you bring your A game. Call/text the number on the flyer for availability, this is a tourney you don’t want to miss. @pechangacasino #JourneyAtPechanga
Genuine question for all the Golf Pro’s that may follow me. Why can’t my practice swing be my real swing? Put the fucking ball there and it changes completely. Granted my practice swing may not be perfect but it’s way better than my actual swing and even though the ball goes where I wish (within reason) it’s not how I want to be swinging the club. What methods / techniques have you found best to transfer this practice swing across? Thanks 👍
Hip turn and right arm practice at p5 p6 and p7. By having the hips more turned and more side bend through the ball helps the alignment of the right arm. Before on right after on the left @gregorynboyle
A little bit of downstroke arc work. We focused on the right arm and its role in the downswing. These balls were hit at 50 percent speed to get the feel. Starting slow and building your way up to a full swing is the best way to learn and coordinate a new feel. @v1sports
We’re nearing the return of a legend!!! lots of haters and lots of believers ......do you think @tigerwoods is ready to compete with the best in the world again or is it going to be a disappointing weekend for the Big Cat ?
More hip slide VS more turn to eliminate the thin right shot. It is a blend of understanding the hip slide, hip turn and extension of the hips in the downswing and follow through. The yellow line was where the left hip was at address and the red line is where the left hip is at impact @v1sports
One of the major differences between poor golfers and expert golfers is the location of the hips on the follow through as well as the arms. You can see in the after (blue lines) the hips are more forward and tucked under the golfer. Also the arms are pushed more away from the torso (blue line). If you are struggling with contact and consistency this would be a good place to start.
Blue Crystal Magnet Golf Putting Aid
I can’t believe this is a golf ⛳️ aid lol!! 😂😂😂
Auricular Golf Focus Bio-magnets are placed on the Shen Men area of the left ear. These small magnets are worn on the upper left ear, provide the gentle yet precise pressure to stimulate specific nerve points in the person’s ear. By applying this gentle acupressure, these magnets induce the production of the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a natural chemical produced by the human brain producing feelings of calm, pleasure, satisfaction and confidence. #golfjokes#golfaid#gofltraining#golftrainingaids#golfmind#dopamine#golfmindsettraining#relax#golfsunday#golfhelp#golfstagram
