So I've been kinda eating my bday celebration lol... not the whole week but definitely been splurging more than I have been. I tried to get my bday off but we had a big event. So luckily they cooked pasta and I must have noodles on my bday for long life. Also when u work in pastry u don't want cake on your bday and when you're at my station it's hard to hide it! So I got steak and some Demi with grilled pickled veggies. Throw in some alcohol in the glass and it would have been perfect! Lol #bdayeats#pasta#steak#demi#goodeats
Sitting down with some steamed pumpkin and vegetables for lunch, seasoned with salt and pepper with a dash of balsamic vinegar. Pumpkins are so sweeeeet 😍 and let's not forget my fav matcha latte😋 Hope I can be more productive with the remainder of the day I have left....
Smashed National Hamburger Day! 🍔
First time at Smash Burger and it was pretty good. Went for the NorCal Burger with Brie, bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, and tomato. Love Brie and you can never go wrong with 🥓!
Frozen Banana Pops
Go ahead, reach into the freezer for a frosty treat! These frozen bananas covered in chocolate and peanut butter with crunchy pistachios taste just like eating dessert.
Yield: 12 servings, ½ banana each
6 large bananas, cut in half lengthwise
1 scoop Vanilla Vegan Shakeology
2 tsp. all-natural peanut butter
3 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. extra-virgin organic coconut oil, divided use
¼ cup semi-sweet (or dark) chocolate chips, no dairy added (approx. 2 oz.)
2 Tbsp. chopped raw pistachios
Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.Place a popsicle stick into each banana. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Combin Shakeology, peanut butter, and 3 Tbsp. oil in a small bowl; mix well.Place in small re-sealable plastic bag. Squeeze out most of the air; seal top. Cut off a tiny corner of plastic bag containing chocolate. Evenly pipe peanut butter mixture over bananas. Set aside.
Place chocolate chips and remaining 2 tsp. oil in microwave-safe container. Microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds; stir. Microwave for an additional 30 to 45 seconds, or until just melted. Do not overcook.
Place in small re-sealable plastic bag. Squeeze out most of the air; seal top.
Cut off a tiny corner of plastic bag containing chocolate. Evenly pipe chocolate over bananas.
Sprinkle evenly with pistachios.Freeze for 2 to 3 hours.
