Working on my posture and thoracic spine rotation. This is a great exercise for anyone who struggles with posture or has a desk job. This is also amazing for the new moms and dads who spend countless hours holding their babes in a rounded posture.

Lying on your side with the foam roller in front of you, place your top knee on the foam roller with your hip flexed above 90 degrees. (Pulling your knee higher up then your pant line is a good marker)

Exhale and slowly reach your top arm up to the sky then drop it behind you. You want to follow your hand with your eyes the whole time.

I didn’t have a foam block or pillow but supporting your head is ideal.

Complete 10 rotations per side 3x. Let me know how they go and hopefully they make you feel a little bit more mobile!

The Chair serves to help sculpt legs, arms, buttocks and thighs while maintaining focus on core strength development. It is used to improve performance in athletes, retrain the body after injury and increase overall physical conditioning. It will allow you to utilize the resistance of your own body in a variety of flowing exercises.The chair was originally designed as a home exercise machine for NYC apartments. Early designs converted easily from a chair you could sit on to a wunda chair you could exercise with. It was very simple, consisting of a seat, a pedal and springs that attached to the pedal to adjust the resistance. Joe incorporated the piece into his Pilates system at his studio in NY. He used the chair to rehabilitate clients with knee injuries and to train more advanced clients in full-bodied exercises. "الكُرسي"

I have terrible posture. I do a lot of sitting. I rarely sit properly. I was one of those kids who would lean their chair back on two legs. I like to curl up or cross my legs, etc. My spine is usually not straight. Since starting my fitness journey, I am more aware of my posture. I will always be working on it but it’s cool to come across a picture where I’m not disgusted by my posture in a pose.

What if you're sitting at your desk? I have a general recommendation that you Adjust your monitors O that the middle of your screen is at eye level when you're in a nice upright posture. So whether sitting or at a  stand up desk, keep your monitor and head up.  Avoid developing that nasty painful Hump in the back.
