There is a trail named Bright Angel Point that extends from the lodge along a ridgeline to a beautiful scenic overlook. There are few rails and you can see down hundreds of feet. People from all over the world squeeze past each other like they are on a train and it is very popular. It’s a short and memorable hike, check it out sometime.
Last week I drove to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and took some photos along the way. Got a couple pictures of the bison herd, aspen trees, ponderosa pines and rolling meadows on AZ-67, or the Grand Canyon Highway. It’s a long, beautiful drive, perfect for a day trip.
The Grand Canyon's North Rim gave a feeling of immense timelessness. Grateful for the opportunity to have seen it at the delicate turning point into fall. The air, winds, pines, and rock whisper something very magical at this place. #grandcanyon#grandcanyonnorthrim#grandcanyonnorth
