We've had our "grass-finished beef/sausage" signs out at market lately and have gotten a lot of questions: "Grass-finished" means the cattle have been on pasture and nothing but pasture for their *entire* lives. Some animals that are called "grass-fed" are foraging on pasture but then receive feed to add extra weight before going to market. It takes longer to raise cattle to their goal weight on just pasture but results beef that is nutritious, tender, and flavorful, and fosters a genuinely sustainable agricultural environment.
Made some incredible high-fat, super low sugar fudge 🤯 Recipe courtesy of @laus_healthy_life! Recipe is on her page. Perfect for the winter season coming since it’s peppermint flavored 🙏 She has a great page and I highly recommend you give her a follow. Do yourself a favor and make this fudge. Includes coconut butter, grassfed ghee, grassfed collagen protein, Brain Octane oil, lakanto, raw cacao, and a couple other things! Gonna try not to eat the whole batch in 1 day 🤤
The foodporn is strong yes. Today's awesomeness is organic, grass fed and expensive. Today was all about wellness for me in mind and body so it wasn't complete without the fuel source having the same theme. I'm sure there's a bit of a placebo effect but a afternoon of Muai Thai , weights , Swimming and Sauna is a great way to clear the stresses of last week and prepare for the new ones to come this week. Now I am full and am craving a milkshake . Hey life ain't perfect but it doesn't mean it can't be good.
A little lactarius city. Tried to find candy caps, but failed. Picked about 2 lbs of what we thought were candy caps and did spore prints when we got back and they proved to be a different species. Anyone have any tips for positively identifying lactarius rubidus?
How do I even find the words to tell you about last night?
We had our holiday party for @thousandhillscc last night at a restaurant that I was hearing legendary tales of & was excited to try out myself.
First, of ALL places, it's way out in St. Michael! What a treasure & thrilled that a more rural area actually gets this level of REAL & GOURMET food!
I've had a stunning month of off-the-charts meals (see my #WiseTraditions2017 meal posts), & while I don't know which one takes the whole cake, I can say that every single one of us literally dropped our jaws when the rib roast came out! It was our meat, but we had never had it prepared (smoked) & served (monster-sized) in THIS way.
I could have cried from being overjoyed!
The fat was (& always is) my favorite part! The infused flavor sent me to the moon.
I thankfully was able to connect the dots while there with who the head chef was & actually ties into the #WiseTraditions conference! Chef Aaron used to be the head chef at the Hyatt Regency's Prairie Kitchen & Bar (where the conference was held) and had trained in the current head chef there, Chef Eric and his right hand man, Chef Collin (who both WOWED all of us at all of our meals last weekend)! Isn't this such a wonderfully small world?!
I want to do all that I can to support this caliber of chefs! We NEED them to further the #regenerativeag movement along (& so we can enjoy our meals DEEPLY once again)!
Please just go here (you don't even have to thank me 😜)!
🌈👶🏻🥒b a b y • b e n t o 🥒👶🏻🌈 Busy doesn’t even come close to describing my life at the moment. Birthday planning, kids, work, Christmas coming and maintaining sanity. All us mums work bloody hard. Am I right!? That’s why lately I’ve been taking a few shortcuts with our bentos 🙈😜 kids are definitely not complaining though. @bigeats_ by @babybistro have been making their way in our lunches. Today we have their meatballs and they are perfect for little fingers.
Organic and have zero nasties in them, totally in line with my chi! Thea absolutely loves them and I’m not going to lie. I do too 😂
If you haven’t yet please do check them out. They have plenty of df, gf, wheat free, and tasty options available.
Today Thea has tomatoes 🍅, cucumber 🥒, blueberries raspberries, grapes 🍇, @fiveamorganics yoghurt chia seeds coconut 🌴 @nutraorganics beetroot latte, pickles, and @bigeats_ meatballs.
I love using leftovers from dinner for breakfast the next day... so i added #grassfed ground beef, caramelized onions, asparagus and potatoes in my frittata this morning and topped it off with some Parmesan 👌😍
Who loves frittatas as much as I do?!
We are always packing our own lunch and dinner in our @yeti. 90% of the time you aren’t going to find paleo foods out and about. if you do, it’s very rare to find grass fed and pasture raised. Failure to plan is planning to fail. Ty
A simple (yet one of my fav) meals to end an awesome weekend! #friendsgiving , a birthday celebration, an improv show and then finished off with some antique shopping with the best, @gapeach_restoration ❤️ Now I’m definitely ready for the holidays! Only one day of work then vacation time. Ps this meal is super easy to make!
Gluten free pasta from #truroots (featured earlier on my page), some #grassfed ground turkey, organic pasta sauce from @thrivemkt , and topped with avocado!
Do you cook or bake with butter? Its naturally delicious flavour is hard to beat. Not only does it help cakes rise in the oven, it also creates those flaky layers we love so much in pastries. Its versatile flavour-carrying properties pair well with aromatics like onion, garlic, and spices, and its smooth, creamy mouthfeel imparts a rich, irreplaceable texture to creamy dishes. #anchorfoodprofessionalssg
Oh, hello Mr. Keto burger! Mmm. Grass fed 80/15 burger, Cooper sharp cheese, bit of mayo, sliced pickles, red onion, and a thick cut bacon weave all cocooned inside some butter lettuce. Delish. It was very messy to eat though mostly due to the juicy burger!

The typical structure of a Life Grip Morning Routine is up 🙂
Starting the day with a Routine that suits you structures your day better and helps it to flow.
Keep a structure that you stick to but change up what you do in each part.
A Life Grip Morning Routine always consists of 4 parts;
2. Breathing Exercise
3. Getting Active, Mobility Work or Yoga
Try this structure to get you going. But it’s about finding what’s right for you at that time of the day.
Tip: if you’re beginning your day with only coffee, then do the morning routine before it. Water should always become before coffee first up in the morning.
Eat More ➡️ Train Harder ➡️ Grow Stronger
1️⃣Grass Fed Sirloin 90:10
Cooking Tip: If you never tried Japanese Yams.... I definitely recommend them. Don’t be impatient n microwave them. Bake them whole or chopped up. They taste completely different this way and is well worth it!
