To the homeless man everything YOU have now is all he could have ever dreamed of having. In your eyes however everything you have in your life as of now is NOT enough yet merely enough to live a life free of worry.
You perceive the comfortable multimillion air next door however as the guy who does have it all and his sheer wealth is all that you can only ever dreamed of having.
To the multi millionaire guy next door however, he feels he doesn't have enough money to live a stress free life, further more he perceives that to be happy he needs a much bigger mansion and a few more expensive vehicles. He believes that to be happy he needs to be a billionaire like his billionaire friend a few blocks down.
To the billionaire however, this person feels miserable as he never has the time to see his family but feels he must continue expanding his business as he believes more wealth will make him and his family happy. He perceives that to be truly happy however he needs to become a multi billionaire.
To the multi billionaire man, this person wishes that he was more content and simply happy with what he has without always the big desire for more profits and wealth. He feels that he has no control over his mind, desires and cravings and wishes to achieve the same contentment and happiness that he perceives exists in the wise man.
To the wise man who chooses to not hold on to the little that he has. He perceives the 'sense of self' and the term 'I' as all, a world that is full and happy just as he is. From a state of no self he chooses to perceive his sense of self one that is free from dogma, desires, cravings and suffering. He chooses to let go of the all that he has and to have less over more. He sees the impermanence of life and in all things.
He knows that "life is never guaranteed, only death is certain" ~The Sangha.
This is however often only ever recognised when the mind is either LOST or FOUND. And in a world fuelled by capitalism sometimes the stimulus can only appear in the external form for one to take notice. #happiness#searchingwithin#awakening#spiritualawakening#gratitude#contentment#money#wealth#capitalism#ego#power#desire#cravings#lust
Every morning I try to wake up and smile. Reflect and make sure I have gratitude for all of the things in my life: bad, good, little, and big.
Ironically enough, today I was NOT wanting to take care of the dishes after making yet another healthy meal for the husband and I (Paleo Crockpot Chicken Soup, simple, but that crap piles up). I decided to take a break and check on FB to wish a dear friend Happy Birthday.

I had the motivation to do those damm dishes. Time to focus on big picture. 😌
#thewayoftea#simple#nature#energy#tea#gratitude#inthemoment . If one is busy chatting & the mind is running, then which part of oneself is enjoying the tea? Who can chat about the weather & really taste a tea deeply at the same time. Find the time for peace . I remember catching up with a friend for coffee & the whole time that friend was answering calls on the phone , texting . The whole catch up was rushed . Really there was no point . Be in the moment people ❤️🌻🌹🌸🌈🐰🦋
I co-lead yoga teacher trainings and teach international yoga retreats. I facilitate a nonprofit (@whyfw) whose mission is to bring more mindfulness to my community by offering trauma-sensitive yoga to people who don’t have access. I shoot photography for families and local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Sometimes I’m afraid to say that when asked what I do. I don’t want to seem too bold of a braggart. Truthfully, I’m grateful. And I believe in speaking my gratitude and writing my gratitude and acting upon my gratitude. Thank you to my teachers - and not just of yoga. Thank you to the many people, near and far, who support me in this work. Nobody gets anywhere, without help.
I teach tomorrow at 5:30 pm Flow + 7:15 pm Basics with a Zen inspired restorative flare at @soulspaceyogacommunity. #gratitude#yoga#fortworth
this moment sums up why i love teaching yoga: helping others feel comfortable in their bodies and connecting with so many beautiful souls. if you’re in pensacola, join me on tuesdays at 6pm at @evermancoop and sundays at 4pm at @fishtreeyoga.
Slow down. Take a moment to just feel. Take a moment to just listen. Take a moment to just observe. Everything that is going on around you is filled with excitement and wonder. Let yourself become part of the experience. Life is so amazing. Take a moment to just enjoy it •

I feel a very unusual sensation – if it is not indigestion, I think it must be gratitude. - Benjamin Disraeli 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 Saying thanks for my breakfast that's kinda 🔥🔥 today. Plate of oranges, mangosteens, golden kiwis, fragrant pears and cherries. 😋
