Japanese Cemetery. Many of the monuments here have writing on both sides, and what you see in this photo is the backsides. The large stone in the center tells the story of a man born in 1893 in Japan. He emigrated to the U.S., went to college and graduated from Stanford, eventually becoming a Buddhist priest in Portland. He died in the Minedoka Relocation Center in Hunt, Idaho on Nov. 12, 1944.
