Live your life as though there is great joy to be experienced... an abundance of goodness in each person you come in contact with, and the knowledge that you have enough inner wisdom to answer the mysteries that challenge you.
I promised I was going to be real with you all and here it is. I couldn’t have read this verse at a better time. (Jeremiah 17:7, it’s at the bottom).
I spent my whole night/morning laying in bed thinking of how upset I am with myself. Of wanting this, that, and whatever and then doing nothing about it. Setting myself to start strong and attain my goals and then just being lazy. How I want something so bad and don’t pursue it. I’ve learned it’s about finding strength not in yourself, but God. Of understanding the love and compassion he has for us. That only through and because of him I can find my strength, comfort, and grace to pursue life for all it offers. By pursuing my strength from earthly things I will only find deception and lose whatever I’m after.
I’m tired of wavering. Of allowing life’s negativity causing my anxiety to make me question myself. “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure” (Jeremiah 17:9). God is the only one that understands and knows the heart. Because, He knows the truth. He knows your worth, passion, desires, and what you are capable of. Whether or not we do. “Through your own fault you will lose the inheritance I gave you... Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh...” (Jeremiah 17:4-5.) •
I want to be steadfast, strong, and on fire for life and my goals/desires. “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him” (Jeremiah 17:7). •
I challenge myself, but also YOU to LET GO. I’m the worst person when it comes to this, because I’ve made myself try to be independent, hustle, and not rely on people, but to help people. To allow little things lead me to doubt what I can do. I challenge you to rely on God. To let go and let Him enter your heart, mind, body and soul. Because, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). Only through Him will you find strength to pursue life for all it’s worth. He loves you more than you know, no matter what shape or form you are in physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. He is just happy that you desire to pursue Him and live life through, for, and about Him.
Have a blessed and amazing day ✨🌺🙏🏽
