❌❌UPDATE POST❌❌ Please read last 2 IG posts for background info. The rescue has updated about 4 times from since the incident happened on January 3rd. The 2rd slide of THIS post is the batch numbers and the specific foods that they believe has caused the death of their birds. And there is also the symtops that the birds experienced before their deaths. The 3rd slide of THIS post shows the update 2 days ago and the 3 birds that were still hanging on were doing better. The 3rd slide of THIS post is the update last night where ANOTHER person has experience the same things and her two birds have died yesterday. For the rescue their Nanday is doing less better than the day before. The rescue is in communication with Higgins but they have not heard from Zupreem or LeFeber's in a few days. Assuming that they are all waiting for the test results of the food. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINKS THAT THIS RESUCE WANTS TO RUIN THESE BRANDS, news outlets have contacted the rescue, but she refused UNTIL SHE GETS THE TESTS BACK AND ENSURE THAT THE FOOD IS THE CAUSATION OF THE DEATH OF THE BIRDS☺
Please REPOST and SHARE this update.
❌❌❌ATENTION FRIENDS❌❌❌ Some serious incident came to my attention. And a special thanks to @mandaandrio for bringing this to others and my attention. In a Michigan rescue, there have been reports of 11 birds dying within a few hours. The air and water was tested and the only left cause may be the dry food that was fed to the birds. Other people have arose with the same issues of their birds suddenly dying as well. ➡️Please be cautious of feeding your birds the following brands: Zupreem Fruitblend (large size for Macaws, cockatoos),Higgins Vitaseed, and Lefeber's Nutriberries. The owner of the rescue have sent these dry foods to be tested and the results have not come back yet to my understanding. @mandaandrio believes that these brands may be recalled in the future due to this incident, so please, until then, REFRAIN FROM FEEDING YOUR BIRDS THESE BRANDS IF YOU ARE FEEDING THEM IF THEY ARE EATING FROM A NEW BAG. IF THEY HAVE BEEN FEED FROM THE SAME BAG FOR OVER A WEEK IT IS FINE. BUT IF A NEW BAG HAS BEEN OPENED WITHIN THE LAST 3 DAYS PLEASE BEWARE. Please be aware of this situation and read the link below for more information. We have stopped feeding Bat Nutriberries even though he eats the smaller size. We do not want to risk anything for sure.
