Can you imagine your car with this - “Wrist Twist” Steering Control System?
The product of some of the most wildly optimistic 1960s design, the Wrist Twist steering control system looks outlandishly futuristic even today. Designed by a former missile engineer, the Wrist Twist replaced a conventional steering wheel with two smaller rings mounted on a vertical yolk and able to be operated either together or independently. Despite the odd look, the Wrist Twist offered some huge advantages: the driver had finer control over the vehicle, the steering mechanism required less force to operate, and the less obtrusive design improved both comfort and stability. While the Wrist Twist never made it to the road, we may see something like it in the future. (http://yeahmotor.com)

@hincapiesports gran fondo is a wrap! 🚲 one of the BEST parts of going to events is being able to see new faces, connect with friends who are like family + @canyon customers who quickly turn into new family members. this gentleman went out of his way to swing by while we were beginning to tear down to share an extremely positive interaction he had with one of my team members. his face lit up as he shared his story... he noted that within 3min of sending us an email with a question + expressing he was just about to pack up his care to drive down to the #hincapiegranfondo , his phone started ringing with my team member on the line, ready to answer his question + get him rolling with confidence. he shared the educational nature of the phone call, felt more empowered after they hung up + received a follow up email within minutes of the things they spoke about. he noted that this level of customer service reaffirmed he made the right decision + once he clipped in to roll out for his first ride... the rest was history ☺️ #thisiswhy#proudmanager#hincapiegranfondo
