•Learn/start. August 2016, I bought the book, "Thinner Leaner Stronger" by Michael Matthews. I loved it. •Pursue/do. October 2016, I found my first trainer/coach! •Fail. February 2017, I "failed" because my goal was to lift and gain muscle. I continued to run and eat like a runner instead of a lifter. I wasn't consistent with my diet and lifting and didn't make progress. •Grow. August 2017, I learned from what wasn't working and competed in a body building competition. •Team up with where my lifting journey started! I am so excited to be a part of @legionath and team up with them! I trust this company, listen to @muscleforlifefitness podcasts weekly, read his books, and use Legion's supplements daily! Almost didn't get to workout today. Almost said "forget it, I'll just skip today", but I didn't and I'm so glad. I ended up with 115lbs on the bar for the bear complex. I ran out of time on the Metcon but rolled my bar to the back and finished with a total time of 36:56. Trying to pick myself up here lately and today was a good start. Pure Austin Fitness is a gym with lots of great equipment, a second floor of cardio machines, rock climbing wall, outdoor lap pool, outdoor running trail around the lake, and a lake with paddle boarding and fun! A day pass was $25 which is more than some but it was worth it! Loved this gym!
