Trying to shelter from the rain under the berry arbour......
I can still smell the wonderful orange tree blossom from here even though a few of them have been knocked to the ground by the heavy rain. Nasturtiums are loving a good drink and are looking very lush under the orange tree. I actually can not remember the last time I sowed a nasturtium seed, once you have them they do make them selves at home.....everywhere!
Calendula flowers are anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and astringent • also known as pot marigold ~ amazing for skin care, dried petals are easily found at health food stores in bulk or tea sections// tea is light and earthy to taste, and can also be used as a facial toner for super sensitive skin. A nourishing flower with abundant power 🌼 #magicflowers#calendula#healing#organicskincare#growyourown#sensitiveskin
Beetroot seedlings are coming along nicely in the greenhouse 🙏 I can't wait to plant and harvest them and use in a salad with horseradish and chives (my mum's recipe) one of my favourites! What's your favourite way to have beets? 🌿
