On a road trip in Iceland, you will seldom find restaurants serving Vegetarian food. Best part about Iceland is that you drive through the emptiest of the roads with no humans in sight, only sheeps and horses and when you finally reach a town, you will be greeted by a yellow sign with a graphic of houses and buildings to indicate that you are entering civilization.
The only difference in the interpretation of the term civilization is that here there are roughly 1000 people with 1 petrol station,1 supermarket and 1 restaurant.
We stumbled upon Cafe Grillusid which had nachos and garlic bread as the only vegetarian items on the menu! But hey you gotta eat when you gotta eat!
The nachos were served with the freshest guacamole, cheesy dip and tangy salsa! The portion size was humongous but who is complaining! 😀 The tired body got its fuel and the invigorated soul found it's comfort food.
Such quaint little cafes deserve more space in our minds than cluttered malls! ❤️
Day24. If I'm out and about my "favourite" takeaway meal is @tankjuicenz, just the usual pinkalicious juice and guacamole green salad, unless it's cheat day then @reburgernz is totally where it's at yo! 🙊 #januaryphotochallenge#takeaway#favourites
