I made this Slade cardigan several years ago and loved it literally to shreds. You will notice a nice worn hole in the elbow on the second photo. After a lot of time tucked away in a drawer, I’m finally going to attempt surgery. If you know of any good tutorials, let me know!

Cable needles are for suckers:
1.When you get to your cable, bring the right hand needle in from behind and put it through the last three stitches in the cable.
2. With great confidence and fearlessly pull the left hand needle out of all 6 stitches. 3 will be on the right hand needle, 3 will be hanging free.
3. REFRAIN FROM PANIC. I specifically told you to be fearless.
4. Get those 3 loose stitches back on to the left hand needle.
5. Slip the 3 stitches on the right needle back on to the left.
6. Knit across
7. Feel superior
