Exercise : Close Grip Ez bar Curl.
Target muscle : outer head of the biceps
Music : Strength of a thousand men
How to Perform : 1. Stand up with your torso upright while holding an E-Z Curl Bar at the closer inner handle. The palm of your hands should be facing forward and they should be slightly tilted inwards due to the shape of the bar. The elbows should be close to the torso. This will be your starting position.
2.While holding the upper arms stationary, curl the weights forward while contracting the biceps as you breathe out. Tip: Only the forearms should move.
3.Continue the movement until your biceps are fully contracted and the bar is at shoulder level. Hold the contracted position for a second and squeeze the biceps hard.
4.Slowly begin to bring the bar back to starting position as your breathe in.
5.Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
I have thought really hard today and the one question that kept on running through my mind was what makes you happy?! My answer? The gym!! 😁 I love the feeling of living a happy and healthy lifestyle! Loving the feeling of waking up every morning knowing that I'm able to hit the gym and give it my all, my everything! And at the end of my session I'm still smiling! It may be the hardest workout I have ever done, it may be the easiest, but just being around like minded individuals who have been through the same up hill battles with their own journeys and overcoming the odds to get to where they are today is so amazing and inspiring to me! We are all learning! We are motivating one another to be the best we can be! We are all pushing and grinding it out every single day! Every single rep! Every single set! And this is what I love about fitness! It excites me! It fuels me! It drives me! It motivates me! And it pushes me to a whole new level! A point where I'm looking forward to the challenges! To the uphill battles! Long nights! Stressful days!! But just remember you are always able to come out on top!! You are stronger as ever! Motivated! Determined! Fearless!! And a badass warrior who can get through anything!! We are all rockstars!! Now it's time to show everyone what we are made of!! 😊

Don't ever think that you're not ready or that you are not important enough. Or that you have to wait until you become important one day before you start to work on your dreams.
Nobody is going to save you. Only you can save yourself! I can give you inspiration and I can motivate you but only YOU ARE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO DO THE WORK! You are the one that has to apply himself/ herself.

Ok so I really started getting on my own nerves, telling myself I was gonna crack down on my snacking and switch up my workouts only to not actually do either of those things. Yesterday was a big day for me with the start of my LSAT prep, so I made that an official starting point for getting more serious with my diet and training. I have goals I'm striving for but can't attain those goals if I'm not taking the necessary steps to reach them. I'm seriously getting back into my density training now. I have my training notebook with me at the gym now and am going to be going back through the density workouts I made up throughout this past year to get myself back in the swing of things. Once I feel I'm set in this new routine, I'll start writing up some more. My excessive snacking is stopping too. My sweet tooth is out of this fuckin world and, especially at night when I have the munchies, I find it very hard to control 😖 BUT I'm stubborn and when I set my mind to something I know I can achieve it, so I'm cutting back on all my lil late night snacks and will be getting back into my old ways of intuitive eating. With all that being said, lemme just take a moment to to comment on how fuckin BOMBBBB my workout was tonight ok. Murdered my back and bis with this density workout I dug up and got in my hiit and 10 sprints 😭😭 I'm so proud of myself cause even though I'm used to killing myself in my workouts, that shit was TOUGH. Also @forever21 has been killin it with the leggings. These are so flattering and sweat-proof and squat proof and look good af and show my muscles 😍 what more could I possibly ask for?
