Do you want to build a cornflakes cookieman?;
Come on lets go and play;
I never see you anymore;
Come out the door;
It's like you've gone away... We used to be best buddies;
And now we're not;
I wish you would tell me why!;
Do you want to build a cornflakes cookieman?;
It doesn't have to be a cornflakes cookieman~
THE ABOMINABLE COOKIEMAN!!! What happened when an artistic guy enters the kitchen and starts baking cookies! wahahahaha #cookieman#cornflakecookies#kuihraya2016#guywhocancook hahahaha 🍪
Ask any chef 👨🍳 👩🍳. We face all types of temptation. Add to that the stress of professional cooking 🥘, long hours and not taking time for breaks. it is a recipe for stress eating. And when you do eat its usually something that you scarf down that is totally bad for you. You don’t even think about it. You’re hungry, there is food, you eat. .
.Then there come the time when you realize that you have not taken care of yourself. You’re fat, walking with a limp, over 100 pounds overweight, depressed and hating life. What do you do? .
You can either do something about it, or you can continue to spiral out of control. .
I’m looking at this 400 portions of carrot cake. I love carrot cake. But I have to think and ask myself some questions. Am I that hungry? Do I need to eat this or should I eat something that is better. Will this satisfy me. What am I feeling now; anger, stress, sadness, overwhelm? And will eating this fix what is wrong? .
. I’m not saying that there will never be a piece of carrot cake that will pass my pie hole (Hummingbird cake is much better) stuff like this is not for everyday. It is for celebrations. It would be much better to eat something that is good for me or even drink a meal replacement shake. Not even the slightest piece of this passed. Not even tempted! #ILost100Pounds#100PoundWeightLoss#Chef#Souschef#FatChef#FitChef#Livinglife#Fitorfat#GetFitOrGetFat#FitFoodie#YouNeverGetTooOld#stl#StLouis#Florissant#hazelwood#guywhocancook#ieatrealfood#weightlossgoals#carrotcake#gandalf#youshallnotpass

🦄I feel like there’s a huge misunderstanding in the fitness industry and I want to take a second to clear the air.
☕️The nature of our industry lends itself to coaches posting pictures showing off their bodies because, like it or not, it’s a valid form of self-promotion. Whether or not it means they’re actually a good coach is a separate discussion entirely. But I know some amazing coaches with extraordinary knowledge and admirable intent who do it...as well as some other coaches with lots of room to improve.
🦄Either way, it’s easy for these pictures to be misleading for a bunch of reasons, not least of which being they’re usually accompanied by pictures of the coach eating ice cream and pizza and pop tarts and doughnuts and blah blah blah.
☕️To their credit, they say it's because calories dictate fat loss and as long as you eat less than you burn you'll lose fat. And they're correct - that's true.
🦄But...they’re omitting the most important part. Because believe me when I tell you they aren’t eating like that all day long. See, they show you their "fun" meals because that’s what most people are ”wow’d” by. They make you curious and jealous and say, "I wish I could do that." Because that's how they’ve learned to promote and try to get you to buy into their coaching or ebook or course or yada yada yada.
☕️Truth is, most of their meals aren’t "junk." Most of their meals are, candidly, pretty boring. And, for the most part, they eat the same meals day after day. Because it’s easier to track your calories if you’re consistent with your meals.
🦄It's not fun or sexy or good marketing. But it's true. 90% of my meals are lean meats (or fish) and veggies. I have fruit several times each day. Drink lots of water (seltzer mostly), unicorn blood, and sometimes tea (but usually unicorn blood).
How many times have I heard, “I’m too old for that.”? 🤔 .How many times have I caught myself say it? 😖
Wanna know the truth?as long as you are alive and you can move your body there is always something you can do to improve your health and or your fitness. Don’t believe me? Google fit old people. There are people older than I am who are losing weight and enjoying the use of their bodies. 😁.
😏Now don’t get it twisted, it is harder to do that if you are older. You will need more time to recuperate from a hard workout. But get this, because you are older no one is gonna give you crap if you can’t Lee up or if you need a break. TAKE A BREAK. Catch your breath and get back in your workout! You earned that right by just showing up! 👍🏿
😁 You might just surprise someone by showing them that even though you are older you can still kick some ass!😜.
I see a lot of fitness model people posting their hard work. They should be proud as I am of all I follow and especially correspond with. That said, I am quicker to like and reply to a healthy food pic than someone who is bent over doing squats or showing off their “assets” . Why? Impressive as those fitness models and bodybuilders are, not everyone will be able to have that type of body or the dedication to get there. And I would admit that I wish I could look as good. But I’m over 50. I will never look like a super fit 25 year old. .
I will try to get as fit as possible so I can show other people over 40 that it ain’t over and there is no reason to settle for being overweight if you don’t want to be overweight. As a foodie, chef, and a coach who is over 50 I need to stay in my lane. I cook 👨🍳therefore I am. And although I am not a certified fitness chef, (yes, that is a thing) I like to consider myself as being one. Yes, I will continue to post about my workouts and stuff. But I want to post pics and real recipes and real cooking techniques to cut the fat and not the flavor. .
Congratulations to my really super fit friends. Keep doing what you are doing. Maybe I’ll start sharing some of your posts. You work hard. And your posts keep me motivated. .
😅Late night Cize Live session. Round 4. I wish I could dance 🕺🏿as well in real life as I do in my imagination🤔. But I love this. I need to find a place to teach.
Sweat 😓 monster. I sweat 😓 a lot. I’m just one of those people who do that. But when people who don’t workout see me sweating they tell me that what I do is too hard. I workout as hard as I can. But I am also 52. I do what I can. If you are one of my friends who say that what I do is hard, it is. But you can do it. Any workout takes effort to be effective, even walking. What I do is also fun. I would not do it if I did not enjoy 😉 it.
I’m looking for people, both local and online, to just try something for free. If you don’t like it then you gain the knowledge of knowing that you don’t like it. I’m not a trainer so I coach for free. DM me for details. .
