Honestly guys, todays workout kind sucked. My low bar squats have been shitty the last few weeks and it’s making me freak out because my competition is so soon. 😥😭 So I have decided to add another leg day into my week so my coach and I can tweak my form and hopefully get me out of this squat rut... On a more positive note though, I’m pretty sure this is the most I’ve ever front squatted and it wasn’t too hard either, only 95lbs but still, I rarely do front squats! Followed squats up with some RDLs and accessory work. Good night! 😴
Walking into the gym tonight I felt like my lack of energy after a long, stressful day definitely meant I was in for a rough workout. But to my surprise the workout didn't suck at all and actually really helped me disconnect from the day's stress and ended up being amazing!
Sometimes it's just about getting lost in the music and the reps. I can't say the gym always takes away my stress but it certainly has a way of helping me deal better! 💪❤🏋️♂️
