Decided to hop back on that gain train. Finally back up to 231lbs. My biggest was 240lbs. Didn't let a car accident keep me down too long. If you have the motivation and put in the effort and faith in the good Lord you can overcome anything. For example, I seen a guy workin out at the gym with no legs with no spotter or anything. That guy was motivating the hell out of me just like I motivated him... we the people are a team. We should motivate and help another. Seen the guy couldn't get up with the curl bar on his thighs so I stopped my workout and helped him up. Then I just decided to help him with his form and spot him.. ended up being a cool dude. Who knows that guy could have been at rock bottom but me taking 5 mins out of my workout to help another may have motivated him to keep going and keep his head up. Let me let you in on a little secret:
Not all of us “bounce back” to our old bodies. Some of us, 👉🏼like me👈🏼 have to work 5-10x harder.
Everything I was able to do before, I had to retrain to do all over just to not see the results as fast or sometimes not have things work the same as they used to.
I’ve had to manipulate my workouts. See what different things activate my body.
I’ve had to focus on a lot more problematic areas (which is basically everything) than the 1-3 I had prior to my daughter.
I have my days. I have my moments. (A lot of ‘em)
Sometimes I get to the gym so focused, ready to put in work, already knowing what I’ll do.
Many more times I just arrive already wanting to lie down.
I try to push. I try to be persistent. &consistent.
It’s important to be healthy: mentally and physically.
I tell myself I need to do this for me.
I remind myself I’m doing it for my daughter.
The better I am within myself, the better I am for her.
Working out is not the main goal, but it helps be productive in all my other ones.
I have small goals and big goals.
But regardless of who’s watching I know two tiny footsteps will learn to walk &follow behind me.
So let me set my best example of who mommy is.
Ps. This is me. I’m not perfect. I will never be.
But I’ll keep trying to get better, slowly.

These pancakes are made from Peanut Sourced Protein Powder and a 7-grain pancake mix 🥞🥜1 serving of each with water and 2 ounces of egg whites (provided by the local grocery store not Tj’s lol) HOT FIRE FLAMES THOUGH these were UNREAL. I’m so happy to have stumbled upon these two products. I used to think buying “health” products at a Tj Maxx or Marshall’s was extremely questionable but now Idgaf 🙌🏽and PS. Sometimes these products are half the price than purchasing it from a Vitamin Shoppe or GNC. Save your doll-hairs while you can!!!

Be ambitious. There are to many people a lot there that say you can't do it. If you fail, you learn and you grow. Today's marathon didn't go exactly as planned but I cannot be more proud of crossing the finish line and will definitely celebrate the small victories.
