Thank you for all the values youve taught me and the endless motivation youve provided me with, inside and outside the gym. Ill be forever grateful for it. R.I.P.
💥💥 MY 2 CENTS ON MACRO/CALORIE TRACKING AND WHY ITS CRUCIAL IN REACHING YOUR GOAL💥💥➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ I totally understand that not everyone has their fitness as their main priority. However, I dont know one person who does not aim to look good physically and feel great and healthy on the inside as well. We set far fetched, often unrealistic goals, in regards to having an amazing body but when it comes to execution, most people struggle with getting their nutrition on point and alot of people straight up consider the nutrition part as "too much work" or a "chore". .
Lets talk some reasons why someone should track their macronutrients (macros) or even calorie intake: ➕ You monitor/realize how much food you actually eat and become mindful in the process
. ➕ You realize how much food you should be eating to reach your goals, given that the training is in check. Most of us think that if you eat "clean foods", we are set to reach our goals. Truth be told, this is only part of the equation. Knowing the exact amounts will only fast track the progress. ➕ You learn profiles of different food you intake on a daily basis. ➕ You become aware of the portion sizes. This is a very important skill to have in my opinion as it teaches you to make better choices in social settings and staying true towards your goal while having a good time with friends and family. ➕ Lastly, tracking macros (over calories) will lead to more accuracy. Food labels have rounded numbers when it comes to the calories printed on the nutrition facts where as the macro numbers wont be rounded.
If you made it to this point, Im giving you a virtual high five and you're awesome 👍🙏 Have a great evening and bless up! 😊
