Today called for 5x5 box squats...first time on the spider bar and it was lots of "fun." 4th set was 350 and I almost died on the last rep so went back to 330 on the 5th set. Good work today! @mitchrfitness and @bwilson1207

As you can see I'm not the best at striking a certain pose and holding it, but you have to have fun and experiment some days!! The surprising part is I haven't trained back in a while, but definitely noticing some progress!! 😁
I hadn't trained back in forever and I have noticed that I haven't posted any back workouts so far. So here it is everyone ⬇
•single arm cable pullovers (3x15)
•straight arm lat pull down (3x15)
•squat position cable row (3x15)
•rope underhand pull down (3x15)
The key during each set/rep was to have slow concentric/eccentric movements throughout the whole duration of the workout! Especially after increasing the weight to absolute failure as soon as I was done each set!! Love that feeling! Love that challenge! Definitely felt the burning sensation after each set, but kept going, kept pushing myself because no matter how hard it was, no matter how tough it was, You are that much stronger! Your mind may think it's over, but your body is like a bad*** warrior who just gets more hungrier and hungrier to crush your workouts!! -
You don't have to be the most shredded person out there. It's not about who looks the biggest or who can lift the heaviest! We are all in fitness for different reasons! May it be bodybuilding, a past or present day hobby you grew up doing..etc. Find that one reason and don't let go! Remember why you held on to this for so long! And never give up! Never lose faith on your ultimate goals and dreams! They may not come quickly, but with patience, time, and effort, you will be so proud of yourself!! It will all pay off!! Can't wait for shoulder day tomorrow!! Going to be an epic one!! 😁

Transformation Tuesday. Over the next couple of months I have a serious amount of travel ahead of me. I have to remember how much better life is now and not slip up while away.
In the past anytime I travelled I piled on the weight. But I won't let that happen this time. The gym gear will be coming with me and I'll try and make the best food choices I can.
First test is coming up this week when I travel to Toronto, Kansas & Idaho!
Currently sitting under my covers after having my 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday! But been meaning to share this! 🌎
The other day one of the common faces at the gym told me: "... you got big right?" 😂 before I could say anything, they were like I don't mean fat.. I mean "muscular big" so I smiled in content and said I have 😉💪🏼 you'd be surprised how many people used the word "fat" instead 🙄
Those terms could be insulting to some people, especially because competing in bikini we work hard to be as lean as possible, however in order to be successful in this sport we must grow some thick skin! People will always have something to say, and that should never stop you from relentlessly going after your goals and trusting where you're headed⚡️
I'm purposely putting my body at a good spot metabolically, purposely putting on muscle, purposely growing and getting stronger 🔥
So... Yes I AM BIGGER and enjoying it ❤️

In other news, I trained back and biceps today and I increased weights and reps, and rack pulls make me feel like a fkn boss 🕺🏼

Yallll... I hated training upper body and now I love it. Legs are obvi my favorite but upper body is just as important chicas 💁🏻
