Good morning curly girls! A lot of us aren't too certain what exactly pre-poo is 🤔, so we're here to educate you on that. What I use to pre-poo is a aloe vera plant. Just carefully chop it up into 4-5 pieces & cut it right down the middle. What I did was massage my scalp with the gel part of the plant (which felt realllyyy good), left it in overnight & washed it out the next day. When I tell you my hair was SUPER soft, oooh my hair was loving it! 😩 As described above you can also use your favorite oil, which ever your hair likes best ☺️ #prepoo#naturalhairtips#castoroil#coconutoil#oliveoil#jojobaoil#washday#hairregimen

@Regranned from @ravishemedicalhaircare - The Short Answer: NO
The Long Answer:
Hair loss/ alopecia has over 100 causes which vary from person to person even though the patterns may look similar.
Causes may range from tight hairstyles, medical conditions, hormonal imbalance, side effect of drugs, etc.
Successfully treating hair loss starts with finding out the EXACT CAUSE.
Even though Growth Oils are wildly popular and are the 1st point of action/ self care in Hair loss, they are not suitable for some types of hair loss AS A SINGLE THERAPY.
It is always best to get the right diagnosis and a treatment plan that is tailored to suit your particular condition.
This is absolute truth!
Carry your small stones today.
We're building that mountain.

I like your hair when it's kinky
I like it when it's an afro
I like it when you have braids
I like your hair when it's straight
I like... I like... Me: I like diversity... As long as there is no thight protective style and less or any chemical treatment involved especially with coloring my hair.
My hair keeps on growing very quick and easy but is been breaking very quick and easy as well and for that reason it stayes the same length.
Some of you may know that I was making length check videos but I took a break from social a while for the following reasons:
1. A facial accident with citric acid got me demotivated (a blog about my story is about to launch)
2. A busy schedule due to moving out
3. A busy schedule due to a new job project
Before I took a break I did record another length check video and then a huge part of my hard drive crashed and I will have to look if the footage survived 😅. Otherwise you will get a brand new video because I do have a hair routine secret these days I need to confess what may be partly the cause of breakage... What I would like to mention about my hair for now is that I'm still surching for the right care and since the Winter is coming and my hair is breaking very much I will leave it alone more often.
Have a sunny Monday this may be the last one of the year here 🌞
I just uploaded a #BigChop update on YouTube showing my #naturalhair 6, 7, and 8 months #PostBigChop ! As well as comparison photos! Check it out #LinkInBio These videos are like a visual diary I have created to keep myself motivated. But I do share 🤗 learning to love my hair at all stages 💚
Hey curl fam! 👋🏽💕 The video got cut off, but I plan on deep conditioning tonight and braiding my hair up in order to prepare and stretch my hair before getting my protective style ➰👑. •
In the process of prepping for my protective style, I will also incorporate a scalp massage into my routine. How many of you incorporate a scalp massage in your hair care regimen???? Comment below👇🏽💜 and TAG a friend.
Healthy hair is a huge priority to me and I’m so glad I tried the Don’t Despair, Repair! deep conditioning hair cap system from @briogeo 💕 My hair is feeling noticeably stronger and my ends are so much smoother after the first application. Contains nutrients like biotin, algae extract and B vitamins, my hair feels incredibly nourished and soft!

My hair LOVES these products! 🗣💕💕
I've been using the Curls reparative leave in conditioner as a staple for a while in my Wash and Gos! The consistency is similar to a lotion rather then a pudding or gel. I have also tried their hair mask (not pictured) which is amazing with putting moisture back into the hair shafts. Overall the line smells absolutely delicious👃🏽 and is really moisturizing💦. Camille rose is a new product for me, after watching several YouTube videos I finally decided to give it a try and B E L I E V E the hype! My hair loves the curl maker ! The definition it gives me is unmatched . ➿〰➿The moisture milk's consistency is thick without being too heavy for the hair. I find it to be very moisturizing as well! As a combo they make a bomb wash and go!
Lastly, I actually started using OGX by accident when I went to Florida last year. I needed a quick conditioner and I picked up the coconut milk and was very surprised with the outcome of my wash and go. Ive used the argon oil shampoo a few times when I travel to keep my scalp clean. To my surprise, I find that it does not strip my hair!✔️✔️✔️

Treat your hair as if it has a “Handle with care” sign attached to it.
* Detangle from the ends up.
* Trim your ends at least 3x a year (until she tells you she needs more or less).
* Always keep her moisturized—dry hair is weak hair.
* Don’t manipulate her too much. She’s sensitive and does better with less touch.
* Come up with a simple regimen and follow it consistently. She responds better to consistency.
* Take time to get to know your hair and she’ll tell you exactly what she needs.
When it comes to products, it's best to keep it short, sweet, and simple.
@Regranned from @hairlicious - When you find a regimen and products that work for you, stick to them! Don't get side tracked by the hype and bandwagons. Be disciplined - you’ll get to your goal faster!💫

Onions are known to make one cry when chopping them. Did you know that they are also beneficial for use as a beauty remedy?
Onions are rich in POTASSIUM which helps hydrate, ASCORBIC ACID which improves cellular respiration and increases collagen production, NIACIN which strengthens hair follicles, PHYTONCIDE which kills germs naturally and helps prevent dandruff and seborrhea, QUERCETIN aka VITAMIN P which is anti-inflammatory and a potent antioxidant, SULPHUR which contributes to hair follicle regeneration.
The list goes on, but no doubt you get the picture. Onions are packed full of goodness. They are also fantastic for your hair. To reap the benefits, try this quick onion juice hair mask.
YOU WILL NEED - you guessed it! One onion!
Peel the outer layer of the onion and grate, blend or food process as smooth as you can. To extract the juice, place in a cheesecloth or old tights then squeeze the juice out. Massage the juice into your scalp and spread throughout your hair. Make sure the onion juice completely covers your scalp. Cover with a shower cap for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. If you are worried about the smell, follow with a mild shampoo or co-wash. Style your hair as usual.
BENEFITS Thicker hair and improved hair growth. Results are not instant, so be consistent and try this for 6-8 weeks.
