We have created an Instagram account dedicated to reposting the daily asanas @LeagueHeadquarters
Mon-Fri a member of our league will post the asana of that day
Sat-Sun are rest day
We encourage you to work on any of the asanas we presented
All levels are welcome and don't feel intimidated by the asanas presented, the point of the poses isn't to be so hard you can't try. Contact any League member for modifications

My unpopular opinion:
Why do we choose to upload what we do? Long videos, sped up videos, the videos that display hard earned strength and control? -
I recently came to realize about myself, my (personal) instagram profile consists mostly of sped up flows that have many cuts and edits. THEN, I’ll upload the raw clips to my story. WHY?
There’s a desire to share my practice but lingering push to make it “fun” to watch. -
This is a snippet from my (15) minute flow... I usually cut a lot out because Im always keeping a close eye on my pup, but here’s a raw peak into my yoga life (sped up x1.5)
Spending afternoons posing on the rocks and catching wind in my hair 🕉☺️🦄🌬💕 Tomorrow morning @heat_hotyoga_warnersbay will try to take you out of your comfort zone and have some fun during Vinyasa Flow 6:45am & R&B yoga 9:30am also 8am full body massage during Yin practice 😄 see you on the mat 🙏😍
For day 1 of #ThanksYoGiving we bring you a standing pose with prayer hands. I chose half lotus tree pose, which is one of my favorite poses. I feel very grounded, focused, and connected in this pose. I imagine that I am rooted into Mother Earth here.
Today (and every minute of every day) I am thankful for my beautiful children. They have taught me so many lessons, the biggest being what true love really is. They bring so much light into my life and I have NO idea where I'd be without them. I can't even put into words the love I have for them. ❤🙏 Also grateful for our lovely hosts:

"Children should be taught how to think, not what to think" 🕉️ 📍 This morning I was invited to speak about my passion for yoga at an elementary school for the #greatamericanteachin
It was a blessing getting to teach the kids about deep breathing and how to utilize the breath and meditation to calm the mind and overcome negative emotions (like our anger during certain math problems 😜). We practiced mudras, chanting "ohm" , and different seated positions 🖤 One boy asked me, "do you ever get frustrated?" I laughed and said of course, but explained when we focus on our breath and practice yoga it gives us the tools to overcome frustration. I'm not perfect, no one is, but I have yoga to help me through life and I'm beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to share that with young minds. Building positive + mindful thinking in the lives of children will help build strong foundations for adulthood, creating a better world for tomorrow. 🙏
Once you make friends with Tripod Headstand a whole family of poses and transitions will emerge.
Let's do Tripod Headstand Variation I with #HalfLotus ! 😉
Anyway, here's some Tripod Headstands Tips:
1. Not sure where the crown of your head is? Try balancing a block on top of it.
Once you’ve got it, just imagine that’s where the floor should be touching your head when your getting into this pose so that you’re not hurting your neck.
2. Also, your two palms and your head, the only three points of contact on the floor should form an equilateral triangle.
3. Make sure that your arms are at right angles like in our Chaturangas (Four-Limbed Staff pose) and that your shoulder blades are glued to your back, lengthening your neck. No splaying of the elbows!
4. It’s very important to engage your core and center your energy, possibly envisioning it as a straight line from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. Keeping this in mind will not only make it easier to flow into the pose but also protect your whole spine.
Smile as well. It’s good for your soul! 😊

It’s day 1 of #ThanksYoGiving !!! Today we are bringing you a standing pose, and I went with half lotus tree. As for what I am grateful for, today I am going to say that I’m immensely grateful that dinosaurs existed. Had they not, then Michael Crichton would have never written the books that led to all the Jurassic Park movies. I watch them late at night to fall asleep to fairly often (in addition to watching while awake, obviously), and I’m glad I live in a world that sees the value in cinematic portrayals of death and destruction by massive, extinct animals. 💚 🦕 🦖 .

#ForearmFanatics day 4 half lotus dolphin ~ I struggled to keep in half lotus and keep my back straight but it was definitely a fun challenge 😊
Day 4 of #ForearmFanatics is suppose to be #dolphinpose in #halflotus I just went ahead and played around in full lotus and did a puppy pose dolphin hybrid to make it my own. It’s crazy how much my day changes now that I start with yoga. I feel more awake, more me in the morning and it gives me more time at night to spend time with the tiny humans. The only thing I am having trouble with is getting lightheaded and dizzy after my practice 😅😅 so clearly I need to make some adjustments.

I don’t have a full lotus which makes lifting up a lot harder. I came into #halflotus and used my infinity strap around my legs.
In my beginners version I practiced half lotus and sat on a cushion to elevate my hips which makes this pose easier.
Join us as we fly through this fall season with some exciting arm balances and variations!

Day 4 of #forearmfanatics is #halflotusdolphinpose or #halflotus in #dolphinpose
I also included a video of landing baby crow because I couldn’t quite get it yesterday and it was bugging me. I haven’t been consistently practicing. I barely did it today.
Are these forearm poses challenging to anyone else?! I feel like it should be so easy and then I go do them and I’m like “holy crap that’s hard!” 😂
Day 4 of #forearmfanatics is Dolphin pose with half lotus.

Day 3 of #healthybodieshappyminds is #lotus and #shoulderstand . YOGA IN BED EDITION 🛏 Tonight’s yoga routine was one of prepping for bed. And you know what’s awesome?? you get to use fluffy pillows as props! Pillows (or bolsters/blankets) make shoulderstand more accessible and allow you to choose how much inverting you’re doing-I personally like to keep stuffing pillows under my hips and using my abs to slowly get fully upright. Sadly I didn’t have enough pillows on hand for that for this pic. 🌺 I’d also like to stress that lotus pose is one of those things that is just straight up not physically possible for some people due to skeletal structure. Part of a #healthybody is having the awareness and respect for yourself to know when something is NOT possible/safe for you. Now idk if my body will ever find it’s way into full #padmasana , but I’m not stressing over it! #halflotus feels just fine and dandy to me, thank you ☺️ #savangasana#comfybed#bedtimeyoga#yoga#happymind#destressing#pillowsmakegreatyogaprops#anatomy#skeleton#everybodyisdifferent 🌺🌺🌺🌺 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 🧘🏽♀️amazing sponsors @dontmesswithganesh @fantoo20 @consciousink @omstarsofficial @infinitystrap

Yogis, you totally brought it for today’s forearm flying warrior! That pose is no joke and we had so many of you try and kill it on the first attempt! And for those of you nursing injuries or still building flexibility, your modifications were on point!
For day 4 of #forearmfanatics we bring you a super yummy stretch with half lotus dolphin pose.
I added an extra challenge by binding my half lotus.
I found that I needed to angle my forearm a bit to be able to balance with the bind, but it certainly isn’t necessary unless you really want to test your balance. If you so choose to try the bind, make sure you keep squaring your hips and shoulders forward.
Don’t forget to practice both sides and you might find that one side is more open than the other.
Be sure to check out what my talented cohosts have posted and don’t forget to tag all of the hosts and sponsors. 🙏

Day 14 for #Yoga4x7#handstand and #halflotus with some help from the wall. I feel a little better about inverting tonight, but tried to make sure I didn’t do it too late. I think it could be contributing to some insomnia I’ve been having. @cyogalab @livesankalpa
