Did you know that an average person gains at least 8-10 lbs of weight during the Holiday season..?!? 😮🙊 It's insane right..?!? The Holidays are fun but let's face it, it can really give you that extra baggage we don't want (again)..hhhmmm, I definitely don't want another 10 lbs on top of what I already have..🙅
So my solution is, I will have another support group this Holiday season so we don't lose sight of our goals, can stay in track in the midst of all the great food and parties we are going to..

We had Bubble Waffle a.k.a. Sundays are my kind of days..🤗 I moved and took care of my body the last 6 days and Sunday is my rest day..👊 I get to sleep in as well, one day out of the week 😉 REST day, it's important..!! Take it, it's part of the process..the body needs to recover, repair muscles and to just rest..don't feel guilty taking rest days or sleeping in days..it's necessary and part of honoring your body..🤗💗
Saturday night Gym. An amazing time to analyze yourself. Not just your physique. Nights like this I use to analyze my drive and my weaknesses. Address them, we often lie to ourselves and put things off and focus on what we are good at. Easier that way, I know.😉 However take the alone time and have real converations with yourself. Have I met my goals? Am I succeeding in all aspects in life? Is one taking from the other? We tend to lie to ourselves to do what feels good or think “I’ll just do that later, I’m young Im good, plenty of time.” A good saying I started to tell myself when I wanted to reach a goal wether it be financial or with my body was. “If not now, when?” I couldn’t put off what would get me ahead after hearing this. Because I knew time is something we just don’t get back. Therefor the procrastination would cease and I would spend the extra time to make another sale, research an investment and or do that extra cardio to bring in better lines. So take that quiet gym time as sanctuary and dial in your goals. Your fulfillment in life always begins with you and a sound plan. Enjoyed myself over the weekend and going over my calories by almost 2000 cal over the span of 3days. But it took me over an hour to create additional 500 cal deficit to offset the weekend 😂

I DID IT!!! Another round of #thegetfitguideround2 complete! This round seemed to go much better for me, and I could tell I definitely made some progress since I did the first round. I felt stronger this time and my pace seemed to go better, too. I didn’t stop to catch my breath a million times. 😆 Everything was going really well until I fell sick with the flu. I’ve been sick for a little over a week now and it seems to be a roller coaster. I didn’t skip my workouts (even though I should have to let my body rest) but I did modify to do only what I could. Two brain tumors and the flu can’t stop me apparently! Anyway, I am beyond proud of myself and I cannot wait to start another round of the guide! I’ll really enjoy my rest week so I can let my body catch up, heal and do its thing so I hopefully don’t catch pneumonia. I hope everyone is doing well and is having a great weekend! 😀💪🏼✨
Ive been working my butt off... (literally) for probably the last 12 months... in that time ive gone up and down with my weight and measurements, which i used to really let get to me, effecting my happiness and self worth!
Ive been pretty chuffed with myself lately so I thought this morning i might try a summery outfit.. coz well #sunsoutgunsout . I got out one of my fav summer skirts which i havent been able to wear for over 2 years! And even when i did wear it, it was uncomfortable and gave me MASSIVE muffin top. Not a good look really!
Well not today my friends!!!!! Check out my summery skirt with NO muffin top!!! Now heres the kicker.. in that 12 months i have only lost 4.6kg.. BUT i am smaller... WAYYYY smaller. Im still rocking a size 16 skirt and a size 18 top (mainly because i dont like tight tops, flowy hides all sins) but i am so much more comfortable in my skin and am so proud of how strong i am. I am never going to be a size 8 and for the first time ever... im ok with that.
Strong not skinny is now my motto. Strong body, strong mind, strong life.
My boys are the best 👨👦👍 they brought home some coffee for me from their IHOP breakfast..that is because I declined their invite so they can spend some time together without me (read post earlier and my story 👆👆) 😉🥓🥞 it might just be coffee but I love the thought and they're taking care of the Mama..💗
Gotta work that popcorn out from last night 🤣🍿🙊 and I was even so close on skipping this workout because the hubbie wanted to have an IHOP breakfast right after waking up 😁🥞🥓☕ but I gently declined it because I want them 👨👦, the boys to have some time together without me..💗 plus I wanna workout 🤣 it worked out perfectly!! And I had the whole house all to myself 🏡🐶🤗 #motherhoodjoys
And so this was cardio core, HIIT moves in between core exercises..👊 all done..!!
