Healing Art ‘Find your true self’
My beautiful piece of healing art has just found its forever home. This painting brought me so much healing whilst I was painting it ... a beautiful soul has just seen it and fell in love at first sight. It truly spoke to her regarding current issues going on in her life right now. It couldn’t have gone to a better home. I’m so thrilled. I love what I do. Xxxxx

Sometimes you need to let go and trust what you already know... it's not working. It doesn't matter how many times that you try to fix it. It just didn't feel right. Yesterday I decided to be bold and so I let go and painted over this older painting. It was really all about trusting my feelings and allowing myself to admit that I couldn't make it better by changing little things. Sometimes we need a complete makeover. Letting go gave way to something new as the layers built and I released what I had been hanging into for so long. Art imitating life perhaps?
I am looking forward to seeing where this new story takes me but for now I'm enjoying the adventure.
I'm using nature to discover the essence of me. How is it that I've forgotten and piled more shells around the truth of what lays within? I am radiant. I am alive. I am strong. I am Me. No flower competes with other flowers. I am a flower blooming in my own beautiful life.

We reach for the light. Don’t stop reaching for the good, for hope, for love. Don’t let the complacency of others, the lack of understanding of others, the abuse of others stop you from reaching and growing. I’ve been in those places...there’s nothing there. No hope. No love. No dreams. Just walls and stagnant air. I would press my face against the cracks in the walls so I could breath, so I could remember what hope was. What dreams were. What life was meant to be. I would press my face against the cracks to find the glimmer of light...to see my way in the dark...to remember that love exists because I existed and was created to love deeply. So I did. I held on tight. I cried out for help in the dark and I found my laughter until the walls began to shake, crumble, and disappear. And I ran, I ran hard and fast until I was safe. And here is where I have rebuilt, here is where I Dream, here is where I crush the lies that would drag me back to the confines of the walls...

Excited to join this program tomorrow on my island of #guam . If you are here, come on over! maybe I'll tweet from the podium. Alas, I can't do magic tricks like my pal, @bmillermagic but we've all got our own unique talents, no? #healingart#bcsm
"Can’t we just go back to the way things used to be?” We often wish upon these words, but our heart tells us this is not possible. We so desperately want the bad times to give way to the good times. We cling to the possibility that the bad times never happened. We want our hurts, betrayals, mistaken regrets to be put in an ancient past. We want to heal, not to hurt, not to feel enraged any longer. And we want to forgive....don't we? We operate under the false pretense, that this kind of reconciliation will bring us back to before, the way things used to be, before the betrayal, hurt and pain. "We know that trauma can be repressed, but it can't be erased. Lasting reconciliation is achieved by emotional self awareness by embracing the change agents of trauma and how they irreversibly re-organize elements of personality, identity, and social reality. This idea, the idea of embracing our wounds, our brokenness, is manifested quite poetically in the Japanese mending practice of Kintsugi. Literally meaning “golden” “joinery” kintsugi is the art of fixing broken pottery with lacquer resin dusted or mixed with powdered gold." The Kintsugi workshop coming up this January 2018 is a way forward pushing through the brokenness and discovering new beauty, perhaps even more beautiful than before as it is now laced with gold and new found strength. Give yourself the gift of healing through making. Set the intention of your New Year's Resolution to not wish for things to have never happened that caused pain, but instead to become stronger, wiser, and Never-Not-Broken! That is resilience. That is the way out of suffering! Join me Jan. 20th, 2018 Register by clicking the link in my bio @beherenowwithjen
It's a new moon this eve Beautiful humans. A powerful and auspicious time for clearing and release, endings and new beginnings. Today I'm setting aside some time to set intentions for the month (moonth, moon cycle ahead) and a little into 2018 too! Actually, forget intentions, I'm being direct - and asking for exactly what I want. Why don't you join in too?
Being confident in your own needs and wants is an unmistakeable way to self-motivate, create clarity and precision and truly embody our inner desires. It can be as simple as writing in a notebook that you can refer back to throughout the month, or your daily alarm message that flashes to wake you in the morning, or out of your afternoon slumber. It might be a list of things or have a single focus: sign up to that weekly yoga class, or a commitment to changing your health through prepping meals or walking daily. Whatever it is, now is the time.
Learning to clearly ask for what you want takes practice, repeated trial and error. But fret not, there are no mistakes! And you'll get another chance to get your intention in 28 days time when the next new moon comes round! I'll write a wee blog about the New Moon Rituals in the coming weeks, so be sure to sign up to my email at http://bit.ly/newmoonmail
