¡Qué rico empezar el día con batido verde o delicioso smoothie bowl! Son una de mis desayunos o snacks preferidos 💕 Cuido mucho que estén llenos de alimentos saludables y no solo llenos de azúcar 😉 además que aprovecho para ponerle bastante verde y vegetales que puede que ese día no coma como zucchini, coliflor, kale, espinaca, lechuga romana, pepino, apio, culantro, perejil, etc. Este smoothie tiene: ▫️1 zucchini pequeño
▫️2 tazas de espinaca
▫️1 banano ▫️Polvo de proteína de arroz (hay que cuidar que ingredientes tiene la proteína que utilizan y que no este cargado de azúcar)
▫️ 1 cucharadita de chía
▫️ 1 cucharadita de mantequilla de almendra ▫️1 scoop de colágeno ▫️1 cucharadita de cacao (puro sin azúcar y ojo es cacao lo que uso no cocoa)
▫️1 taza y media de leche de almendra 
Mezclar todo y yo use de topping cacao nibs. ¡Si lo hacen cuéntenme como les queda! ¡Feliz semana! ✨✨✨

Day 347, Sunday. Just kidding! Day 11. Just a few more to go! Not feeling so great today because yesterday was low, low, low with a major rebound high over night. Time for another basal insulin adjustment! Hooray! 🥄Breakfast: scrambled egg and blackberries with multigrain quinoa/flax hot cereal/Greek yogurt/almond butter
🥄Lunch: Salad with roasted red peppers/artichoke hearts/kalamata olives/avocado/fresh mozzarella/mixed greens/basil/balsamic Dijon vinaigrette and raspberries
🥄Dinner: chicken with tomatoes/onions, stuffed squash blossoms, zucchini cakes (a little bit overdone but that's life)
🥄Snacks: peach and macadamia nuts
🥄Liquids: @gtskombucha and lots of water
🥄Low Treatment: TJ coconut water with pineapple (2), juice box (not pictured), and another peach. Like I said, LOW 😤😤Someday, I will have fewer juice filled days!

Here's the super easy recipe from Jamie's Food Revolution... Vegan Mousse

2 ripe avocadoes
3 tablespoons good quality cacao powder
2 tablespoons organic Maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 can coconut cream

Peel avocadoes and put in food processor, add cacao, syrup, and vanilla and blend until smooth. Add coconut cream and blend until mixed. Put in ramekins and refrigerate for at least half and hour. Add fruit and enjoy!

PS we use the left overs to put in out popsicle molds, great to cool you down on a hot day!

worthiness is an amazingly terrifying concept. inherently, we are all worthy, always, no matter what we are going through, what we are doing, where we are in life.

but our feelings of worthiness become wildly clouded by many things: emotions, experiences, trauma, abuse, pain, love, relationships, other people, ourselves. some days we feel on top of the world, like  we can do anything, can fight any battle that comes our way, and are worthy of so much love & acceptance. and in other moments, we feel that our existences are meaningless, that we have nothing to offer the world, and that no one could possibly love us this way. some of us even have people in our lives who try to make us believe, in on way or another, that we are unworthy because of x, y, z.

and, to me, this is a space that seems like an eternal struggle. people who love you will tear you down and mistreat you, creating those feelings of unworthiness. but Y O U ARE STILL W O R T H Y of receiving all the magic & love that the universe has to offer. you will experience horrible things that will, for either a fleeting moment or for decades, make you devastatingly question your worthiness. you will experience beautiful things that will make you feel like you are deserving of all the good in the world.

this cycle is exhausting. it's heartbreaking, painful, difficult. we end up feeling like we are in a constant battle, gasping for air. we feel frustrated, sad, disappointed. we feel like we just can't balance all these forces, that maybe they're just too strong for us to truly be able to find our way to feeling completely worthy.

but we A R E. i am worthy. you are worthy. remember that, always. find your way back to that place, no matter what is shifting around you, within you. reclaim your worthiness today. ❤️✨🦄🤓

My summer has suddenly become busy with a lot of stuff but building my boundaries so that it does not affect all that I have worked so hard to keep up.  Yes even for us coaches, we have to be held accountable and thankfully prayer and surrounding yourself with people that are on the same path is a great way to keep going.

This morning, since I am working remote, I decided to work outside and start it with my favorite meal of the day!  Today's flavor Caffe Latte with half a banana. 
What a difference a little sun and my morning boost makes!  It sure beats the Monday blues! 😊

For three years straight I taught 3-4 yoga classes a week at a gym studio. Then 2 years ago I got my 200-hour yoga teaching certification, moved back home, and started teaching privates. After 3 years of teaching classes in a gym, one-on-one's were new for me, and definitely a different type of experience.

I was/am always happy to guide an individual with yoga tools to feel better in their body and mind, but I realized how much I missed teaching group classes.

I felt kind of guilty at first that I preferred teaching large classes. I thought those thoughts were not very "yoga instructor" of me and it shouldn't matter how many people I was instructing.

But that's how I felt. I was frustrated at first and asked myself if ego was talking, but I knew it wasn't. Instead, my feelings boil down to this: I feel there is something so, so special in giving strangers a space to come together for a common purpose. The energy that is created when 5,10,20,40,60 people are flowing together, breaking down walls within themselves to come back to who they are in their heart is so damn beautiful and poetic to me. It's why I actually prefer to have my own practice in a studio rather at home most of the time. It's the community aspect of working on yourself and bettering those around you stimutaneously. -
This weekend in San Diego I taught yoga classes at the Taking Control of Your Diabetes Conference where I got to teach people from all over the world, who like myself, have been affected by type 1 diabetes. 3 of my clients who I've heath coached over skype were even there and after months of getting to know and help them virtually, we were able to finally meet in person🤗 Peter from the Hamptons, Jaclyn from Canada, Nicole from Wyoming.
