If you've been living anywhere but under a rock, I'm sure you've heard the saying "You are what you eat"! 🍴 
From personal experience, this is actually quite accurate! When I eat garbage foods, I can literally notice a difference in my energy and stress levels! With bad foods I notice I feel much more stressed, anxious, grumpy, and fatigued. However, when I eat well I feel more energetic, happy, and motivated! 💪 
Consiously eating healthy is by far one of the best decisions I've ever made. I have learned to find recipes that are healthy yet still delicious! 👍

100g de Bacon 🐖
Sal e temperos a gosto

Pique o bacon bem picadinho, misture com todos os ingredientes crus. 
Agora é só enrolar, com paciência (como não tem farinha, fica bem molinho), colocar em uma forma com uma pequena distância entre os bolinhos, e congelar. Depois de congelados, você pode tirar da forma e guardar em um pode plástico com tampa. Descongele apenas na hora de fritar. I was tagged for #stopdropyoga by the always inspiring @feelingfit4u. This was my attempt at Flying Lizard today. Even though my foot isn't tucked underneath my tricep, this is the first time I've ever successfully flown any one legged pose, and I am ECSTATIC! I've been working on achieving this for what feels like forever. Now that I have the strength to do it, I know I can only continue improving and growing stronger. Some people think it is weird that I workout daily. It totally boggles their mind that I make the time most days to be active. Luckily for me, because of sports when I was younger, I know how amazing it feels to be in good shape. You have more energy, you're more productive, and you have better quality sleeps. For me, I notice a major decrease in stress and anxiety. I don't only motivate myself by how I will look on the outside, I focus on all the other benefits working out gives me. I do the same when it comes to nutrition. I find if your goal is only focused on how you look, you will lose motivation very quickly. Everyday I remind myself how much happier I am if I start the day off with activity. And how my skin, digestive system react so much better to natural foods vs processed. I'm not perfect, but focusing on being healthy from within helps me stay on track most of the time. If you find your motivation yo-yoing, maybe it's time to change the "WHY" behind making better choices. .

There are SO many health experts and opinions, it can be hard to know what and who to trust. ▪

One of the very best pieces of advice I've been given, and continue to give, is this: 
Do what works best for YOU. ▪

It's true that in a lot of health cases there may be some foods/drinks you have to stay away from. And most people know to limit or eliminate junk food/beverages you KNOW aren't doing you any good, and increase your fruit, veggie, and water intake. ▪

But when it comes to healthy foods and lifestyles, do your research (get help if you need to), and then decide for yourself whether something is going to benefit you or not based on your own individual needs. ▪

You'd be hard-pressed to find a healthy diet or nutrition plan that will be for everyone. Only you truly know what works best for you. There's no need to stress yourself out over being healthy. Doing that defeats the purpose of healthy living. ▪

Which as you can imagine is completely wrong. ∵
I've been talking a lot about the things you don't need in order to grow a sustainable coaching business when you're starting out and this is one of them. If you think about it, as coaches we don't even need that many 1:1 clients (specially when we have a super clear business plan). ∵

In other words, weigh yourself. Measure yourself. Know your baseline bloodwork and health status from an annual physical exam. Get clearance from your healthcare provider(s) if needed to begin an #exercise program.
Look at your life. What's your schedule like? What do you eat? Track it for a couple days using a food diary, not to cut calories just yet but to LOOK at your BEFORE. 
Take it one step further and identify a couple of areas you could improve, and a couple of ways you might do it.  Once you've made a commitment to #weightloss, be sure you spend a little bit of time really taking a good look at your "Now." One of the best ways to change up flavors in your routine is to add a new dressing or sauce. I have been using this Asian Almond Butter Sauce over EVERYTHING. I have added it to veggies, rice, over salmon, over salads, and wraps… you name it. This would also make a really great stir fry sauce! The best part is this sauce is Whole30 compliant and super simple to pull together 🙌🏻🙌🏻Here is the recipe👇🏻👇🏻

1/3 cup creamy Almond Butter (No Added Sugar, I get mine from Costco) 
1/4 cup Coconut Aminos
1 Tbsp Lime Juice 
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (more if you like it to be very spicy) 
Hot Water

Warm almond butter in the microwave for 15 - 20 second, just so it is very liquid-y.  Stir in the Coconut Aminos, the lime juice, and the red pepper flakes. Thin the sauce by adding 1 tbsp of hot water at a time until a dressing like consistency is reached. I ended up adding close to 1/4 cup of water. And there you have it!

Step outside of your comfort zone. Call a friend and say hello. Smile at random people on the street. Pay it forward, in any way big or small. Start reading that book you've had on your dresser for 6 months. Enroll in that training course. Commit to not drinking pop for the day. Promise yourself you'll to go the gym for 30 minutes and actually go! Get that pedicure you don't make time for. Eat vegetables with every meal today. Set a boundary with a loved one or coworker. Say no to something you don't have time for. Say yes to something you second guess your abilities to do. Tackle one task on your procrastination list. Meditate. Write a gratitude list. Make amends with you know who. Ask your boss for that raise. Update your resume to search for a different job. Make a list of your priorities and see how it matches with your current path. 🙋Whatever it is, do something! Our everyday lives can so easily become bogged down by routine, insecurities and fears. We become stagnant. We lose sight of who we truly are and what we truly want. There's no time like the present to reassess and redirect our path! This can feel overwhelming. I get it! I've been there!! 🙌 This is where I come in. I work with individuals, like yourself, to guide them to self-discovery by helping them come in contact with themselves, possibly for the first time, and together discovering who they are and what they want.
