Lots of ways to spend our TIME...... The thought of 30 years of teaching with a salary that didn't really depend on how hard I worked, or how gifted I was, or how many 55hr weeks I did......began to disturb me.  And, I knew that my teaching salary wouldn't make our non-profit dream of offering scholarships to help others live their dreams happen, nor would it help Sara and I help launch intentional & sustainable communities around the country, our dream of owning a Tesla would take much longer to make happen, and we wouldn't have the financial flexibility to provide body-mind-spirit wellness retreats to individuals from all socio-economic situations.......sooooo...... We discovered a way that allowed us to work smart & hard, have fun, enjoy lovely community, heal past fears & traumas, and support others on the wellness path.....and we have already surpassed my teaching income in 3 1/2 years of biz focus!  So freaking cool!  This path isn’t  for everyone, just like being a professor, a doctor, a lawyer, a server, a mechanic, a farmer isn’t for everyone....but this network marketing journey with Young Living has been transformative for us in so many ways!

Regular exercise that you enjoy, eating nutritious whole foods and looking after your social and mental wellbeing is HEALTH and your greatest asset. Skip the fancy cars, house or clothes as these things mean nothing if you don't have your health. It is hands down your greatest asset if you think about it?! Be grateful to taste food, walk on the beaches, listen to nature and admire beautiful scenery. Don't wait until you receive a health scare or for something to go wrong to make changes. Peace 🙏✨.

In our first meeting last year she said “diabetes is my curse and I will never be able to manage it with food. I love brownies and chicken way too much to ever give them up.” I knew I had an uphill battle, but that challenge was accepted and conquered. #NoDiabetes 👋🏽 #ByeDiabetes #KidsDeserveGoodHealth 
She made these treats with sweet potatoes 🍠 and cacao chips. She texted me and told me that the ingredients have over 22 healing benefits. That text message had me in tears y’all!!! 😢 Just so you know she no longer has diabetes and has lost 40 pounds and her younger siblings no longer suffer with high blood pressure and obesity related illnesses. Moments like this are why I love teaching and why I’m at the grocery store/farmers market so darn much. 🤦🏽‍♀️ My job isn’t always easy or pretty. But I’m privileged and honored that I get the opportunity to help people slay their health issues. Being sick isn’t fun, you miss out on so much......it doesn’t have to be that way. When our bodies don’t get the proper nutrients, we can’t feel our best or look our best. It’s time we focus more on the quality of the food we’re eating. The food we eat is like fuel. It gives our bodies the energy it needs to function well. If you don’t make sure that the fuel you pump into your body is of the right quality or quantity, you just won’t feel as healthy as you could.

This excerpt sums it up pretty well -
“We all have up to 100 trillion cells in our bodies, each one demanding a constant supply of daily nutrients in order to function optimally. 🔥🔥Cheers to my girl + fellow health coach, Katrina‼️‼️ "I'm a single parent and work as a nurse (at 3 different facilities). I put others first and myself last.... up until I found myself trying to get out of this deep hole I dug myself into... depression and lack of self-confidence. Finished a four day water cleanse over the weekend and I have to say I'm feeling a lot happier than I look in this picture😂 I feel so revitalized and it was a very enlightening experience. My body was telling me to try it out and sooo I did. I did some research about what exactly a water cleanse was all about and found a lot of amazing health and spiritual benefits from water fasts.  When your energy isn't being used to digest food it's able to go to all the areas in the body that need healing and transformation occurs. I read that and bam.
