Saturday stretch 🤸🏼♀️ •
I've been a very poorly bean this week so I braved the gym for the first time since Tuesday for a little stretch and some yoga.
Taking it very slow and easy as I'm still feeling totally wiped out 🤧
Winter is officially with us folks! Make sure ya'll are looking after your bodies so they can fight off the bugs 🙅🏼 Hope you all have a blessed weekend! As for me, I plan on spending it snug in lots of blankets netflixing 🌚

A Little Obsessed Day 4, Cardio Core DONE and I had FUN! 😃😃 ...
You know I’m home when you see the Japanese sweet potato pop back up on my feed 😏 On top of a bed of lettuce and spinach I had a baked Japanese sweet potato, tomatoes, avocado, peas, carrots, and garlic roasted eggplant hummus which has been my obsession lately! It tastes a bit different than normal hummus and it’s a little less creamy but I like it 👌🏻 I’m spending the rest of my day just chillin’ with my family. It’s been a nice and relaxing weekend so far. It feels so to decompress from all of the school stress 😌 Hope you have a great rest of your night!

Dijon Sockeye Salmon w/ Zoodles, need I say more?! 🙌🏻💥 there's just something about a fat piece of salmon that gives me allll the feels every dang time! paired w/ cauliflower rice and some broccoli florets, and all drizzled with some coconut aminos... sign me up!! I've recently gotten into replacing soy sauce w/ coconut aminos because they are soy-free, a lot lower in sodium, and not as heavy in taste. It's a win-win! I'm diving into this plate and catching up on some TV shows and watching Stranger Things, aka it's gonna be a good night!! hope you guys have a great rest of your saturday ✨.
how to make: @traderjoes sockeye salmon fillet (seasoned w/ garlic powder + paprika) and cooked at 350 for 30 min //at the 10 minute mark, spread Dijon mustard over the salmon and let it cook the rest of the time.
I spiralized my zoodles and grated my cauliflower while the salmon was cooking and sautéed both on the stove!

Thanksgiving is a time to eat all of the things 🦃 🥔 🥧 with the people you ❤️. and you should enjoy Every. Damn. Bite. Without apology or regret. Then get yo head back in the health game the following week.

Since I’m🤰I will still be eating foods with naturally occurring sugar, like 🍌 🍎 and 🍅 🌽, but avoid food with added sugar for 5 days. I bet you can do the same!
Sugar is not food. It has no nutritional value, therefore of no benefit for me or 👶 It IS highly addictive and hidden in so many of the foods we eat.

WELL, roughly 6 months ago I decided to go up against all my fears & doubts and I quit my 9-5 job to pursue something I am super passionate about. I took a leap of faith in the Universe and most importantly, myself, and decided to try and start my own Health & Fitness Biz ✨ I currently have 8 wonderful fitness clients, and today I ran my first group circuit (I was terrified 🙈) but also super excited! Everything is slowly but surely coming together 🙏🏼 I am incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me on this journey and I cannot wait to watch it grow over the years. I am working on getting my Holistic Nutritionist & Health Coach certifications within the next 18-24 months, and also hoping to Reiki energy healing as a future service! I have a goofy side. I love to laugh and smile and jump around. I dance and sing in the car while serenading passing cars. I get excited over horses (my passion), new thriller books, and Once Upon a Time. I love to jump out of bed in the morning after a good stretch and shrill shriek. Bear hugs are my forte. These are only some things about me...things that my eating disorder steals. Anorexia has done nothing but make me miserable, angry, depressed, anxious, and horrible to be around. It breaks me down, convincing me that I am not worth living life; I’m not worth being a part of this world. But...in recovery I’m learning that my eating disorder is wrong. I’m tired of it stealing my life away—a life I am perfectly entitled to. We all are. I’m not perfect, but every day I am trying to beat this. Sometimes I’m tired, but I will always fight. I hope you keep fighting your demons, too. ❤️ I wanted to tag some people on here who keep me going, whose accounts inspire me every day. Thank you for being you!

Anderson has been a little under the weather(😢) and my attention has been 100% on him which means it feels I’m behind and “falling short” in every other area at the moment. But ya know what? I’m doing my best. Being a Momma is my number 1 priority and when other important things (fitness included) take a back seat because of that, it is nothing to feel bad about. Light lunch with our lower carb Buddha bowl: on a bed of mixed leaves we have roasted mushroom and tomatoes, lentils, grated carrot, pickled onion, shredded purple cabbage, mixed nuts and seats all finished off a healthy dollop of natural yoghurt and sprinkle of microherbs.
