Just wanted to share a little bit on my #FitnessJourney on the left picture I weighed in at 230 this is me on the right picture now. Weighing in at 176. I dropped that weight in a matter of months. Kept and still keep a clean consistent diet. Not going to lie. I rewarded myself this weekend. 😁🤷🏽‍♂️
This was just in 5 months, that literally flew by! Now I’m lifting more and heavier to build mass. I’ll post another picture in another 5 months. We’ll see where this goes, but in all honesty. I’m loving it. How to get pregnant is something I often get asked about by patients; 92% of couples will conceive within 12 months and 98% in 2 years if they have regular unprotected sex. If you're worried or you fall into a higher risk group (such as women with polycystic ovarian syndrome, previous pelvic surgery, age over 35) we often refer you to a fertility specialist earlier- you don't always need help BUT we have a low threshold to get them involved in case. People always ask how they can improve their chances of getting pregnant - sex every 2nd day in the week before ovulation (usually between days 7-14 if you have a 28 day cycle) is enough - if your husband is telling you 3 times a day is the only way; he's lying ladies. And yes, I'm wearing my canvas shoes to work today - it's birthday boxing day and it is totally allowed 👟

If you have a red, painful or gunky eye we often do this test - we put orange drops in the eye called fluoroscein and examine the eye in a dark room with blue light. This allows us to see if the cornea (the film over the eye) is damaged due to infection, scratches, injury. It's a very important test. You can get unusual eye infections like herpes in the eye and we can only detect it with this test. If you work with welding tools or hammering then safety eye wear is vital (I can’t even begin to tell you about the horrific eye injuries that can occur). My husband 👫 is obsessed with donuts 🍩  to begin with, and Hanukah 🎂 means he gets to eat as many as he wants⚠️ ....?To make this treat healthier 💪 , I've come up with a vegan recipe that uses all unrefined sugars 🍯 and is baked, not fried 🚫 . I promise, your taste buds 👅 will thank you for this. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients: 
1️⃣1 package active dry yeast
2️⃣1 cup pea or soy milk, warmed
3️⃣1 tbsp honey
4️⃣¼ cup vegan earth balance, melted
5️⃣1/2 cup coconut sugar
6️⃣1/4 more pea or soy milk (maybe)
7️⃣2½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
8️⃣1½ teaspoon sea salt
9️⃣2½ - 3½  cups all-purpose flour depending on how dense or fluff you want them to be (less four = more fluffy = my preference!)

For cinnamon and sugar coating:
1️⃣2-3 tbsp earth balance, melted
2️⃣1/4 cup coconut sugar
3️⃣1 tbsp cinnamon
.
Recipe:
1️⃣Combine milk, yeast, and 2 tablespoons of honey in a small bowl. Set aside for about 10 minutes or until it gets foamy.
2️⃣In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup coconut sugar, salt, cinnamon, and flour.
3️⃣Add in the yeast mixture and stir until a dough comes together. 
At this point you may need to add the 1/4 more pea or soy milk if your mixture is dry. Knead on low for 5 - 7 minutes with the dough hook of a stand mixer. The dough should be sticky.
4️⃣Transfer your dough into a greased bowl, and cover it with plastic wrap and let rise for 1.5 hours or until double in size.
5️⃣After the dough rises, roll it out into a long rope. Cut out about 1 inch and form into somewhat balls.
6️⃣Place onto a baking sheet and loosely cover. Let rise in a warm place for 1 more hour. 
7️⃣Preheat the oven to 350°F
8️⃣Bake the the doughnut holes for 15​-20 minutes. 
9️⃣Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
1️⃣0️⃣While they'recooling, combine the cinnamon and sugar for the coating. 
1️⃣1️⃣Brush the doughnut holes ​with melted earth balance and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

All too often we let setbacks or obstacles take us down and sabotage our health and fitness goals. When really that's all they are- minor setbacks. Remember that some of the biggest breakthroughs come from some of the biggest breakdowns.

So anything that you're currently facing or dealing with that may be making things harder on you, just ride it out. You'll thank yourself in a month or year from now that you stuck to your guns. (And so will your guns.⬅See what I did there?😅)

My commute has become an hour and while most days I have hard boiled eggs or some left over protein from supper for breakfast, some days I just want warm eggs!! With this little guy, I can scramble some before I leave the house and they are still warm when I get to work.

A little trick I have figured out is to let the eggs cool in the container for 5 minutes or so before putting the lid on.  This allows for less steam to collect in it and you won't have egg soup!
